Did you know? Wood borer exit holes are tiny—often just 1 to 2 mm in diameter. If you spot what looks like a harmless sprinkle of fine sawdust or powder underneath your wooden furniture, cabinets, or flooring, the structural damage is already actively happening inside.
Locally known as bukbok, these tiny beetles chew through the core of your timber, hollowing it out while leaving the outer surface looking perfectly fine. By the time you notice the holes, multiple generations of larvae may have already made a meal out of your property.
Don't let them turn your home’s structure into their lunch. 🍽️
