⚓️ A homeschool field trip worth adding to your list! | Museo del Galeón

Last October 1, we visited Museo del Galeón in Pasay. If you’re a homeschooling family or looking for an educational place to bring your kids, this is definitely one to consider.

Dito mas maiintindihan ng kids ang Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade and how the Philippines was connected to Mexico, Spain, and other parts of the world through maritime trade.

There are interactive exhibits, historical displays, maps, and a full-scale galleon experience, making history more visual and easier for children to appreciate.

You can easily connect the visit to History, Geography, Culture, Science, and Economics. After the trip, your child can also make a simple reflection, drawing, timeline, or map as part of your homeschool activity.

For us, learning is always more meaningful when kids get to see and experience what they learn from books.

One of the most comforting things to witness is a father praying over his family. 🤍

When there are things we cannot control and answers we are still waiting for, Eza reminds us through his prayers that our family is never carrying these burdens alone.

Tonight, he prayed over Quest. For healing. For strength. For good results. And for the hope that tomorrow, we can finally bring our little girl home.

A praying father is such a beautiful blessing to a family. Not because he has all the answers, but because he knows exactly where to bring every worry.

Lord, we surrender Quest, our family, and everything that is in our hearts to You. We trust You. 🙏🏻

Look at our Happy! 🐶

Happy just turned 6 months old, and this was her first time getting groomed outside! Usually, we just clean and groom her at home, so we were a little nervous about how she would do.

But she did so well! And we’re so happy with how clean, fresh, and fluffy she looks. 🥰✨

I’m so thankful to God because He brought you into my life. Naniniwala talaga ako na hindi aksidente na nagtagpo ang mga landas natin. You have been one of God’s greatest blessings to me.

Thank you for being my confidant. Salamat sa pagiging taong lagi kong malalapitan whenever I need someone to talk to, someone to lean on, or kahit gusto ko lang maglabas ng nararamdaman. Thank you for listening without judging me and for always encouraging me with love, wisdom, and prayers.

Thank you rin for loving me so genuinely. Sobrang grateful din ako sa pagmamahal mo kay Quest. Bilang mommy, napakalaking blessing na may mga taong katulad mo na tunay na nagmamahal at nag-aalaga sa kanya. I know she is blessed to have you in her life.

My prayer for you is that God will continue to bless you abundantly. May He give you good health, renewed strength, genuine joy, and His perfect peace every single day. I pray that He continues to guide every step you take, bless the work of your hands, and grant the desires of your heart according to His perfect will.

We’ve been asking Quest since last week what she wanted for her birthday. Every single time, her answer was, “Nothing.”

When we asked her again last night, she finally smiled and said, “A road trip to Tagaytay, dinner at Jollibee, then Starbucks for dessert. Let’s welcome my birthday at 12 midnight.”

That was it.

Then she quietly said something that touched our hearts: “God already gave me the gift I’ve been praying for.”

Sometimes, the greatest gift isn’t something we can buy. It’s an answered prayer. ❤️

As parents, moments like these remind us that the best thing we can ever teach our children is to treasure God’s faithfulness more than presents. We pray that she will always have a grateful heart and continue to see God’s goodness in every season of her life.

Happy 9th Birthday, Quest! We love you so much, and we pray that you will continue to grow in wisdom, kindness, and in your love for Jesus. May you always walk in His purpose and never lose that thankful heart. We love celebrating the beautiful girl God has entrusted to us. 🤍
