AND WE DID IT!

The LGU Tagoloan, through the Tagoloan Negosyo Center, successfully launched its Business Learning Session Series yesterday, September 2, 2026—marking the beginning of our commitment to bring continuous business learning every Wednesday to our local entrepreneurs and MSMEs.

From “Take control of your business finances” to actually putting those lessons into action!

Our first session, Financial Literacy & Cash Flow Management, brought together Tagoloan MSMEs for an afternoon of learning, sharing, and meaningful conversations—because running a business is not only about working harder, but also about learning smarter.

A heartfelt thank you to our resource speaker, Ms. Meliza Cande Taclindo of DTI–Misamis Oriental, and to all our entrepreneurs who took the time to learn, participate, and grow with us.

This is just the beginning. Every Wednesday, we learn something new. Every lesson, we build a stronger business community.

LOOK: PRICE MONITORING OF BASIC NECESSITIES AND PRIME COMMODITIES (BNPC) IN VARIOUS GROCERY STORES

The Local Price Coordinating Council through the Tagoloan Negosyo Center resumes its price monitoring activity in various grocery store in the municipality.

This initiative aims to provide consumers with relevant and timely information. For the next days, the council will also expand its monitoring activities to include groceries from other barangays and other additional grocery items to further assess price movements and are within the suggested retail price (SRP). We encourage the public to stay informed and remain vigilant on the prevailing prices in the market.

The LGU would also like to express its appreciation to the business owners and establishments who actively supports and cooperate with this initiative.

Should you have concerns over the prices of BNPCs within the municipality, don't hesitate to message us here or visit our office.

Tagoloan Candles made its first-ever exposure at the 35th Mindanao Business Conference, held on August 11–13, 2026, at Limketkai Atrium, Cagayan de Oro City—proudly showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and local talent of Tagoloan.

Our heartfelt gratitude to SPI Power Inc. for the wonderful opportunity to bring LGU Tagoloan and LGU Villanueva to this prestigious event and to showcase our local products to a wider Mindanao audience.

Tagoloan proudly featured its recently highlighted eco-plastic products and our newest local pride—Tagoloan Candles, our very own handcrafted candles inspired by the rich cultural and religious heritage of our town.

Under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Atty. Nadya B. A Bright New Beginning for Tagoloan's Candle Industry! 🕯️🎉

A significant milestone has been achieved as Tagoloan's very first officially organized association of candlemakers—the Cantago Candle Makers Association—formally took its place in the community.

The newly elected officers proudly took their oath before Atty. Nadya B. Emano-Elipe during the Municipal Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Tagoloan Dome on August 3, 2026.

This marks the beginning of a stronger and more united community of local candlemakers, working hand in hand with the LGU in realizing its vision of developing the candle industry and establishing Tagoloan as the hub for candle innovation and craftsmanship.

Congratulations to the officers and members of the Cantago Candle Makers Association! May your passion continue to ignite opportunities, empower local artisans, and inspire future generations. Together, let's keep the light of innovation, unity, and progress burning brightly for Tagoloan. 🕯️✨
