We’re bringing Learning Design Leadership to Manila: a 3-day, in-person workshop for educators, trainers, L&D professionals, and learning designers who want to move beyond content delivery and design learning experiences that actually respond to people’s needs.

Across three Saturdays, we’ll explore:

What if reuse wasn’t the harder choice? 🤔

In Baguio, re_haven is reimagining tingi into a local reuse and refill ecosystem – designed around how communities actually live.

As Social and Behavior Change lead, Vonn Vincent V. Tanchuan helped shape the strategy around a simple idea: understand the barriers, then redesign the conditions around the behavior 🔄

That means looking beyond awareness – to infrastructure, incentives, trust, social norms, and culture. From sari-sari stores and youth runners to pasabuy networks and Marites, existing community strengths become part of the system for change 🤝

Because lasting change isn’t just about asking people to choose differently. It’s about making the better choice easier, more trusted, and more relevant.

How might we design life-centered systems for the holistic development of every child and every person?

Last June 4, KindMind facilitated the first in the series of three Design Labs for Asian Development Bank to yield their Education and Skills Strategy for 2035.

The room debated provocative futures, built artifacts from the year 2035, and asked deeper questions about what education systems are truly for. Across different futures, common aspirations emerged: trust, equity, community, and human flourishing.

Design Lab 01 surfaced signals, tensions, and aspirations that will carry into the next two Design Labs. The future of education is not something that happens to us — it is something we can collectively imagine and shape.

You cannot give a child what you were never given the space to have yourself 🌱

Recently, we guided Raya School's faculty through a day of deep reflection.

Together, 70 teachers - veterans and newcomers alike - built a physical tree in the room:

🌳 Roots for why they teach.
🌿 Canopy for the unspoken gestures that make Raya, Raya.
🌸 Bloom for what they hope still grows in them.

Raya raises children to change the world. But schools that ask that of their students must ask the same of the teachers forming them.

At KindMind, this is the core of our Learning Experience Design (LXD) practice.

We go beyond typical training modules to design spaces that make room for vulnerability and genuine transformation.

Teachers give the country its future. We need to give them room to become, too ✨

What does it mean to move from being a dedicated teacher to becoming a changemaker educator?

Recently, we worked with Raya School to design and facilitate a faculty gathering built around a simple but powerful metaphor: a tree.

🌳 ROOTS — reflecting on why we teach
🌿 CANOPY — naming the everyday practices that shape culture
🌸 BLOOM — imagining the future we hope to grow

Across generations of educators, stories were shared, practices made visible, and aspirations turned into collective commitments.

Because culture doesn't only live in policies or handbooks. It lives in gestures, rituals, and the ways communities care for one another.

At KindMind, we believe meaningful experiences do more than create moments of connection — they leave behind artifacts, language, and practices that communities can carry forward.

Collective flourishing doesn't happen by chance. It is designed through care, intention, and shared experiences.
