He looked at me and asked,
“Do you have experience?”
For a moment, I almost lied.
I wanted to say, “Yes, I’ve done this for years.”
But instead, I told him the truth, and flipped the whole conversation.
I said one line that made him pause, smile, and say,
“Let’s do it.”
He paid.
That day, I learned something powerful:
Clients don’t always buy experience.
They buy confidence and conviction.
