MRS. DAVAO DEL NORTE - Joy Soo
Joy graduated “cum laude” in Bachelors of Science in Accountancy at the University of San Carlos, Cebu City, Philippines and worked as a Certified Public Accountant in her own accounting and auditing firm for the past 22 years. In 2017 she pursed her passion in creative arts and in 2020 graduated as a Fashion Designer in Philippine Fashion Academy in Davao City and Fashion Marketing Certification in London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, London, UK.
She is at present the Marketing Director of Khingchey Group of Companies and ACER Davao del Norte, an Information Technology Business that she and her husband established in 2005
The World Championship of Performing Arts Official Talent Scout for Davao Region, who aims to train and bring Filipino artists in the United States annually to compete in the world stage with more than 70 countries where her daughters won multi gold medals in singing and musical instruments categories.
Currently spearheading the Musa Advocacy, an altruistic endeavor which is anchored on one significant purpose of producing artistic tribal vogue behind bars and in the native homes of indigenous women in Davao del Norte, Philippines.
Author of “The Anecdote of The Musa Advocacy published and sold in Amazon Kindle worldwide.
A mother of her 2 daughters, her youngest being the reigning Miss Teen Glam Philippines 2020 and also the Philippine representative of the upcoming Miss Teen Tourism World 2021 and Miss Teen Glam International 2022, Joy believes that pursuing her life’s purpose is not self- serving nor a self-quest but rather about recognizing her own gifts and using them to contribute to the world and bring joy to everyone.”
