A very memorable moment from our Halal subject activity, where we had the opportunity to conduct an interview with 𝗡𝗖𝗢 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 in the Municipality of Maco regarding their Halal practices and the processes behind their products, particularly their banana chips.
This experience was truly insightful as it allowed us to understand how a local enterprise ensures that their products comply with Halal standards, from sourcing raw materials to production and packaging.
Beyond the technical knowledge, this activity also gave us a deeper appreciatioof local businesses that value both quality and cultural sensitivity. It was not just an academic requirement, but a meaningful experience that connected classroom discussions with real-world applications.
Even though it was just an interview, it left a lasting impression on us as students. It reminded us that food production is not only about business and profit, but also about trust, responsibility, and respect for beliefs. This experience in Maco will always be remembered as an important part of our learning journey in our Halal subject.
Special thanks to our Halal 101 subject instructor
Sir: Dan John Rodrigo
And also to the NCO 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 for having a big contribution to our project Interview on halal
