𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐈𝐃𝐎-𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The NEMSU Tandag – Aurum Innovations and Development Organization (AIDO) successfully conducted the AIDO Target Airsoft Gun Shooting (AIDO-TAGS) during the four (4) days of the Laragway 2026 Intramurals. Despite operating with limited resources and supplies, the activity was sustained and executed smoothly through initiative, adaptability, and strong partner support.

Throughout the activity, a significant number of students visited the booth and expressed strong interest in its concept. Participants appreciated the opportunity to experience basic shooting techniques and proper handling of airsoft units, recognizing it as a unique and interactive addition to the intramurals. The activity provided not only entertainment but also a new and engaging experience for the campus community.

Originally, under the direction of AIDO Chief Executive Officer John Robert E. Paqueo, the project was planned as a one-day shooting and display activity. However, due to the high level of student interest observed on the first day, the organization seized the opportunity to extend the activity. What began as a single-day event was expanded into a continuous four-day operation.

Despite the limitations in resources, AIDO demonstrated resilience by finding ways to sustain the project throughout its extended duration. This was made possible through the invaluable support of its key partners. The organization extends its highest appreciation to Hon. Atty. Jose Dumagan Jr., Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member of the 1st District of Surigao del Sur and recognized TC-MAG Founder, for providing the functional airsoft units essential to the activity. Likewise, AIDO expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr. Jonnie P. Cosare, President of the Tandag City Mancagangi Airsoft Group (TC-MAG), for supplying additional resources and operational support that helped sustain the activity.

Overall, the successful conduct of AIDO-TAGS exceeded expectations. Despite limited supplies, the activity was able to operate continuously throughout the entire four-day duration of the Laragway 2026 Intramurals. This achievement reflects the organization’s commitment, resourcefulness, and strong collaboration with its partners in delivering a meaningful and engaging experience for the university community.

In response to the continuous rise in fuel prices, including premium gasoline and diesel, the Chief Executive of the Aurum Innovations and Development Organization (AIDO) has issued a directive implementing temporary operational adjustments to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

Effective immediately:
• All organizational schedules will be consolidated and conducted every Friday.
• Official transactions with internal and external partners will only be accommodated from Friday to Monday.
• Friday is designated as the primary day for all major transactions and engagements.
• Personnel are strongly encouraged to limit the use of vehicles (cars or motorcycles for organizational or personal) to conserve fuel.
• All official travels and external meetings must be scheduled at least three (3) days in advance and aligned within the designated operational window.

These measures aim to reduce operational costs, optimize resource utilization, and maintain continuity of essential services during this period of rising fuel expenses.

At the beginning of the presentation, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗘. 𝗣𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗢 of the 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗢) expressed his sincere gratitude and full respect to 𝗔𝗕𝗖 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 for the opportunity to be invited before the 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 – 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿. He acknowledged the importance of the moment, as it allowed him to personally meet and present his initiative face-to-face with the Punong Barangays of the 𝟮𝟰 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 of the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗼.

During the session, ABC President Hon. Emmanuel P. Isiang also recognized the efforts and initiative of Chief Executive Paqueo in developing the concept and bringing forward an innovative proposal that aims to modernize the way barangays preserve and disclose public governance records. The ABC President emphasized the value of introducing digital systems that promote transparency, accountability, and proper documentation within the barangay level.

Chief Executive Paqueo then formally introduced 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗣𝗗𝗦 (𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺), carrying the vision and slogan “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗼.” The initiative aims to strengthen the culture of transparency, documentation, and digital preservation of governance records across the municipality through a structured online platform.

The AIDO CEO also explained that the inspiration behind the initiative is aligned with existing government transparency mandates, particularly 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟭𝟬𝟰, as well as the original Public Disclosure Policy under the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟭 (𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟳𝟭𝟲𝟬). These mandates encourage local government units to ensure public access to official records, financial disclosures, and governance documents, which the DPDS aims to support through digital innovation.

During the presentation, the AIDO CEO explained the framework of the Digitalized Public Disclosure System (DPDS), outlining its objectives, advantages and limitations, digital infrastructure, and its role in improving public transparency. The system is designed to address documentation challenges within barangays by providing an accessible digital archive of official communications, resolutions, ordinances, approved minutes, financial disclosures, and other governance records.

The project was originally conceptualized only for 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗮. However, during a previous barangay session where the concept was first introduced, 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗕𝗖 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗘𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗣. 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 recognized the potential of the initiative and invited the AIDO CEO to present the proposal before the Liga ng mga Barangay – Tago Chapter, opening the opportunity for the project to serve the entire municipality.

Under the proposed framework, the AIDO as provider will have each barangay to establish their own independent digital website, while the Liga ng mga Barangay – Tago website will serve as the central directory connecting all barangays. This structure reflects the administrative hierarchy of the municipality and promotes greater accessibility to public governance records.

During the open forum, several 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 raised key questions regarding the initiative — particularly its 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁. In response, Chief Executive Paqueo explained that the project will help strengthen transparency, preserve barangay accomplishments, and provide an accessible historical record of governance activities. The proposed development timeline for the digital infrastructure is estimated at six months, while implementation costs will be discussed and negotiated individually with each barangay.

During the discussion, the 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 also initiated a consultation with the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 to explore where the possible funding or budget allocation for the development of the digital infrastructure could be credited. This consultation aimed to determine the appropriate financial mechanism should the Liga ng mga Barangay proceed with the adoption of the initiative.

Following the presentation, ABC President Hon. Emmanuel P. Isiang expressed support for the initiative and suggested that the Liga ng mga Barangay consider its possible adoption, with budgetary preparation potentially targeted for the year 2027.

The initiative reflects a forward-looking vision for the Municipality of Tago — building a stronger culture of transparency, accountability, and digital governance for present and future generations.

AIDO Chief Executive Successfully Presents the 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

In a landmark step toward modern governance, 𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗥. 𝗝𝗢𝗛𝗡 𝗥𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗟𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗢 successfully presented the 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗢) Digitalization and Technological Integration Project for Barangay Governance, a forward-looking initiative aimed at strengthening good governance, public transparency, and accurate information dissemination.

The project is designed to enable barangays to publicly and accurately disclose official documents, reports, and announcements through an integrated website system, ultimately eliminating misleading information and misinformation circulating across unofficial news feeds.

During the presentation, the AIDO CEO emphasized that this digital platform represents a transformative milestone for Barangay Purisima, positioning it to become the first barangay to integrate structured digitalization practices within its governance framework.

Following the presentation of the AIDO Digitalized Public Disclosure Project, Punong Barangay and ABC President 𝗛𝗢𝗡. 𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗣. 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗔𝗡𝗚 expressed interest in expanding the initiative beyond the barangay level. He inquired whether a broader version could be developed for presentation to the 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 (𝗟𝗻𝗕) - 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿.

In response, Mr. Paqueo confirmed that AIDO is capable of producing a Municipal Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) version of the platform. This proposed system will establish a structured hierarchy covering all 24 barangays, complete with:

A.) Comprehensive Organizational Structures;
B.) Centralized Public Disclosure Mechanism;
C.) Standardized Website Framework; and
D.) A Fully Functional Sample Digital Platform

This ensures uniformity, transparency, and technological integration at the municipal level.

Additionally, During the recent Chinese New Year Celebration, the AIDO CEO also revealed that AIDO will soon be registered under the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 (𝗗𝗧𝗜) as a business entity. This strategic move aims to secure formal credentials and strengthen the organization’s institutional foundation while maintaining its commitment to public service and innovation.

𝐀𝐔𝐑𝐔𝐌 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 | 𝐉𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Aurum Innovations and Development Organization (AIDO) conducted its Regular Meeting on January 9, 2026, during which the organization’s business and calendar agendas were formally discussed.

Key matters included proposed internal and external symposium projects in preparation for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections, in line with the SK Reform Act of 2015 (Republic Act No. 10742). The internal symposium, titled “The New Breed of Young Leaders: SK Reform Act of 2015 (RA 10742) Symposium,” was identified as a priority project and is currently under finalization, with activity proposals being drafted and subject to resolution. Similarly, an external symposium entitled “The New Generation of Youth Leaders: SK Reform Act of 2015 (RA 10742) Symposium,” was approved in principle as another priority project, designed to engage the broader youth sector at the barangay level.

The organization also discussed the proposed Aurum Precision Sport Competition (Autumn Airsoft) as a secondary project to be conducted at the barangay level, with further details to be disclosed upon finalization. Intramurals-related projects, aligned with the organization’s calendar of activities, were likewise reviewed and are subject to resolution.

Other matters deliberated included a proposed Valentine’s Day project, potential celebratory activities, and discussions on organizational undertakings. The Chinese New Year activity was noted as confidential and for internal reference only.

Additionally, the proposed AURUM polo shirt uniform was discussed and agreed upon in principle, with procurement matters referred to the Committee on Procurement Management for further action during a Special Meeting scheduled on January 15, 2026.

Under Other Business and Concerns, the Chief Executive Officer’s public disclosure was internally presented, with confirmation that the full report shall be posted through AURUM’s official channels in February 2026. Announcements were also made regarding the AURUM Business and Services Center, AURUM Printing Services status, administrative sanctions against inactive officers, and the scheduled hearing for inactive officers.

The meeting was adjourned at exactly 11:40 AM, upon motion by the Board Director, Committee on Procurement Management, and seconded by the Deputy Director, Committee on External Affairs.

The successful conduct of the Aurum Purisima Airsoft Sport Exhibit was made possible through the collective support, cooperation, and generosity of our partners and local government leaders.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Hon. Johnny T. Pimentel, Provincial Governor of Surigao del Sur, for his financial assistance and support, which significantly contributed to the successful implementation of this community-based and youth-centered initiative.

We likewise express our heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Jelio Val C. Laurente, Municipal Mayor of Tago, for his support and encouragement of programs that promote youth engagement, alternative sports, and community development.

As the Aurum Purisima Airsoft Sport Exhibit took shape, preparations on the ground reflected the shared commitment, coordination, and passion of everyone involved. From setting up the firing lanes and safety zones to finalizing operational details, the activity was the result of hands-on collaboration between the Aurum Innovations and Development Organization (AIDO) and the Tandag City – Mancagangi Airsoft Group (TC-MAG).

During the preparation phase, a moment captured the spirit behind the project—a selfie of the AIDO Chief Executive Officer, AIDO Administration, and the TC-MAG President, symbolizing a genuine partnership built on trust, shared goals, and a common passion for introducing airsoft as a disciplined and inclusive sport. More than just a photo, it represented unity, mutual respect, and a collective vision to bring new sporting opportunities to the community.

This collaboration goes beyond a single event. It reflects a shared mission to promote responsible recreation, youth engagement, and the growth of airsoft at the barangay level—laying the groundwork for future activities, programs, and possible organized games open to the public.

The Aurum Purisima Airsoft Sport Exhibit concluded successfully, drawing strong participation and positive engagement from residents and students of Barangay Purisima. Due to the overwhelming interest and public response, the activity was immediately converted into a whole-day firing and recreational event, with the AIDO Chief Executive Officer declaring all firing sessions FREE OF CHARGE, and all payment schemes officially dismissed.

The event sparked genuine excitement and curiosity among participants. Many attendees expressed that the experience was enjoyable and engaging, with several residents and students showing strong interest in airsoft as a sport—asking about organized games, shooting drills, and possible jungle or simulation-based activities.

AIDO clarified that while it is a student-led organization within NEMSU – Tandag Main Campus, the activity was made possible through its official partnership with the Tandag City – Mancagangi Airsoft Group (TC-MAG). This collaboration aligns with AIDO’s vision of introducing airsoft as an alternative and inclusive sport at the barangay level, accessible to the youth and the wider community.

Several participants tried the firing experience for the first time, while others inquired about how to join and participate in future activities. Moving forward, AIDO will coordinate closely with TC-MAG regarding the organization of public airsoft games and simulations, with the AIDO Chief Executive Officer also exploring potential sites for future airsoft activities to further promote the sport and sustain community interest.

This successful event marks a meaningful step toward expanding sporting opportunities beyond traditional disciplines—bringing discipline, recreation, and passion for airsoft closer to the community.
