This morning, Team Philkairos mobilized early alongside the DENR PENRO-Cavite team for Day 1 of the tree inventory across the 50-hectare PRRM property spanning Silang and Dasmariñas, Cavite.

This activity marks the beginning of a comprehensive assessment to document existing tree species, identify invasive trees and gather baseline data that will guide the site’s long-term ecological restoration. The inventory will support the gradual replacement of invasive species with native, endemic and fruit-bearing trees, helping restore biodiversity and strengthen the area’s ecological resilience.
