🐖 Alamat ng Lechon 🔥
Noong unang panahon, may isang maliit na baryo na kilala sa pagiging masisipag ngunit salat sa handa tuwing pista. Isang araw, may isang matandang magsasaka ang nag-alay ng kanyang pinakamalusog na baboy upang ipagdiwang ang masaganang ani. Wala silang oven o malaking kalan, kaya’t inihaw nila ito nang dahan-dahan sa bukas na apoy, habang umiikot at binabantayan ng buong baryo.
Habang iniihaw, may mahiwagang hangin ang dumaan—tila basbas ng kalikasan. Naging kulay ginto ang balat ng baboy, at kumalat ang bango sa buong lugar. Nang tikman ng mga tao, hindi pa sila nakalasa ng ganitong kasarap: malutong sa labas, malasa sa loob. Mula noon, tinawag nila itong lechon, simbolo ng pasasalamat, kasaganaan, at pagkakaisa.
At sa tuwing may pista, kasal, o malaking pagdiriwang, ang lechon ay palaging nasa gitna—paalala ng alamat na kapag ang handa ay inialay nang may puso at sama-samang pagsisikap, nagiging pambihira ang lasa ng saya. 🥳
