>>ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER

We are looking for a diligent team member to be responsible for billing/invoicing the customers of a large Transport and Warehousing company based in Australia.

The duties include analyzing charges, checking charges against rate cards, creating and sending invoices to customers and tracking payments/receipts. The team member must be able to effectively communicate with customers and with the transport team in order to resolve any issues in relation to the invoices. The ideal candidate for this position is proficient in both verbal and written English, computer and cloud technology savvy, with a keen eye and great attention to detail and possesses a minimum of 2 years experience in a logistics or invoicing role.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Creating and sending weekly invoices to customers using Carton Cloud & Xero.
- Review rates and charges to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the invoice.
- Coordinate/liaise with the transport team for any questions or clarifications in relation to the invoice being processed
- Send weekly debtor statements and reports detailing the customers' unpaid invoices to the Financial Controller.
- Work with the Accounts team in monitoring of payments.
Upload Proof Of Delivery (PODs) from On Forwarders and make sure the delivery date in the system is correct.
- Responding to and resolving customers’ issues and inquiries in regards to their invoices.

Qualifications:
- Good understanding of the logistics industry and supply chain
- A hands on experience and solid understanding of invoicing, revenue/sales and receivables.
Great knack for numbers, data entry and analysis.
- Proficient in computer and email usage. Professional email manners, ability to produce reports in excel/word in an easily understandable format.
- Knowledge and usage of Google Workspace, Google sheets and an experience with accounting software Xero and transport software Carton Cloud - is a plus.
