te” by the Philippine National Police Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (PNP-SOSIA) in accordance with the Provisions of Republic Act 5487 entitled ‘Private Security Agency Law”. However, on July 30, 2022, a new law repealed RA 5487 in favor of Republic Act 11917, also known as "The Private Security Services Industry Act.”. The law requires the agency's owner to be one of its licensees and protects the wages and benefits of private security personnel.
