JCI Zamboanga Hermosa is honored to be endorsing Team Unity's standard bearer for Area 5’s Area Vice President, Mari Ellen Hope Jalon of JCI Jambangan.

Ellen is a woman who speaks thru her action. A woman who fears nothing, and is true to her promises. A registered and working Operating Room Nurse, she paved the way to take her step to continuously champion her campaigns and advocacy thru wise and significant involvement to JCI Philippines.

With her mantra, , she seeks to provide and foster Holistic Opportunities for Progressive Empowerment to the entire Area 5!

As part of the JCI Week 2022 Community Action on its 5th day, the JCI Zamboanga Hermosa in partner with Zamboanga Central School Sped Center, promoting the USDG no.8
Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
Grade V& VI learners were gathered to be trained on how to use CANVA app in presenting a multi media presentations of which It was found that learners become highly motivated when they are solving or addressing a real-world challenge and if they are creating a product for an authentic audience, beyond the four walls of the classroom, they develop a deeper sense of purpose or passion for what they are doing. The project of JCI Zamboanga Hermosa lead by our LSDD Rhona May Ramirez, the goal is to develop the entrepreneurship skills of the young minds as they go along in life and learn life skills. The K.I.D.S Canva (Keep it Dynamic yet Simple. It was a success Training workshop for the kids who were able to attend and participated actively despite of internet constraints. Congratulations to the participants and to their teachers and head of school Mrs. Lepidaptera T. Villanueva and TLE and GAD Coordinator Michelle Elloren who happen to be the 2022 LO President of JCI Zamboanga Hermosa.

March of every year is declared as National Women's Month.
This year's theme was from 2017-2022.
JCI Zamboanga Hermosa joins the 2022 NATIONAL WOMEN'S MONTH CELEBRATION with its theme:
“We Make Change Work for Women”, the celebration aims to highlight the empowerment of women as active contributors to and claim holders of development ( Change) which is anchored to “ malasakit sa pagbabago” as to its sub theme :
" AGENDA ng KABABAIHAN Tungo sa Kaunlaran”
The Women's Month Celebration has since served as a venue to highlight women's achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women's empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments. The month is set aside to honor women's contributions in the community and in their fields.
