In observance of Tax Awareness Month pursuant to Proclamation No. 486, s. 2024, JRM Bookkeeping and Accounting Services conducted an online orientation for our valued clients in Zamboanga and Basilan.
The orientation focused on educating business owners about compliance requirements, particularly the documents that must be properly displayed in their business establishments in case of a tax mapping conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

๐ Documents to Display in the Business Area (For BIR Tax Mapping)
During tax mapping, the BIR checks if the following documents are properly posted or displayed:
1. Certificate of Registration (COR)
โข BIR Form 2303
โข Must be displayed in a conspicuous place in the business establishment.
2. Notice to Issue Receipt/Invoice (NIRI)
โข Authority showing the business is allowed to issue official receipts/invoices.
3. Valid Receipts/Invoices
โข Should be BIR-registered.
โข Must contain required details (TIN, business name, address, serial numbers, etc.).
4. Books of Accounts
โข Registered books (manual or loose-leaf).
โข Updated and available at the place of business.
5. Proof of Registration of Cash Register Machine (CRM) / POS
โข Permit to Use (PTU), if applicable.
6. Business Permit (Mayorโs Permit)
โข Valid and updated.
โข Displayed in the business area.
