Inilabas ng Commission on Audit ang Annual Audit Report para sa Office of the Vice President para sa 2024. Nakakuha ang OVP ng unmodified opinion. Ito ang pinakamataas na audit rating. Ibig sabihin maayos, tama, at sumusunod sa patakaran ang paghawak ng pondo ng OVP para sa 2024.

Sinuri ng COA ang financial statements, gastos, at proseso ng OVP para sa buong taon. Walang malaking pagkukulang na nakita. Binanggit din ng COA ang maayos na pakikipagtulungan ng staff ng OVP sa audit team. Nakikita dito ang disiplinado at maingat na pamamahala ng pondo sa ilalim ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Muli, ipinapakita ng OVP ang malinis at organisadong financial management. Pinatutunayan ng audit na tama ang paggamit ng pondo at sumusunod sa lahat ng patakaran. Lumalakas din ang record ng Bise Presidente, lalo na sa gitna ng kritisismo tungkol sa confidential fund sa mga nakalipas na taon. Ang mga usapin na iyon ay hiwalay na iniimbestigahan at hindi sakop ng 2024 audit. Ang report na ito ay para lamang sa regular na audited funds ng 2024 at malinaw ang resulta. Pumasa ang OVP sa mga requirement at nagpakita ng tamang reporting.

Patuloy na ginagamit ng ilang kritiko ang confidential fund issue para kwestyunin ang kanyang pamumuno. Ang 2024 COA report naglalagay ng malinaw na basehan sa usapan. Nakasalalay ito sa totoong datos at hindi sa ingay sa pulitika. Pinapatibay nito ang pahayag ni VP Sara na responsable at maayos ang paggamit ng pondo ng tanggapan.

Magpapasa pa rin ang OVP ng status report sa loob ng 60 araw. Ito ay normal na requirement para sa lahat ng ahensya.

Ang COA report para sa 2024 ay nakapagpapatibay ng tiwala ng publiko sa OVP sa ilalim ni Sara Duterte. Ipinapakita nito ang disiplinang pinansyal, pagsunod sa proseso, at malinaw na pananagutan sa paggamit ng pondo ng bayan.
