India stands at a critical crossroads with this war mongering attitude. Today, India is not just another country in the region it’s a global hub for innovation, investment, and opportunity. Major multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, Coca-Cola, Baker Hughes, and Sony have invested heavily in India’s future. Apple is even in the process of shifting a significant portion of its iPhone production from China to India. India has proper international tourism, hosts world-class events, like IPL and Coldplay concert.
On the other hand, Pakistan, struggling with an economic crisis, has nothing to lose. Today, it received another IMF loan just enough to survive. With few global companies, minimal international tourism, and limited foreign investment, Pakistan is in a position where it’s fighting for basic survival. We have seen worse than this in last 3 decades, tanking economy, over 80 thousands deaths and much more. Pakistan is playing with nothing at stake, while India has everything to lose.
Ask yourselves with this war mongering attitude. Will Apple, Google, or Amazon continue to see India as a stable base for operations? Will future companies not think twice before investment in India? Will international cricket stars and tourists still flock here? Already, the cancellation of events like the IPL sends shockwaves globally.
You must ask: Is this really worth it? Is risking decades of progress, prosperity, and global goodwill in the name of hyper nationalism a path you can afford to walk?
