گلگت بلتستان اور چترال میں ہزاروں سال سے کھیتی باڑی کے لئے استعمال ہونے والے روایتی اوزار "ہل گہ نال". ٹریکٹر اور جدید زرعی آلات کی ایجادات کے بعد اب یہ تاریخی اوزار نایاب ہوتے جا رہے ہیں. لوگوں نے بیلوں کی جوڑریوں کو رکھنا بھی چھوڑ دیا ہے.
میڈ ان جی بی سی میں "ہل گہ نال" اب بھی دستیاب ہیں. دور دراز علاقوں میں اب بھی ایسی قابل کاشت زمینیں موجود ہیں جو ٹریکٹر کی پہنچ سے دور ہیں وہاں اب بھی قدیم طریقہ کار سے ہی کھیتی باڑی کی جا رہی ہے.
اس تصویر میں موجود "ہل گہ نال" مقامی ایک کاریگر نے بنائے ہیں جو میڈ ان جی بی سی اسٹور میں موجود ہیں. اس "ہل گہ نال" کو سکولوں کے بچے مختلف تحقیقی آسائمنٹس کے لئے استعمال کرتے ہیں.
The "Hal-gah-Nal" is an ancient farming tool that has been used in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral for thousands of years. Even though tractors and modern tools have become popular for farming, this traditional tool is still found in the region, especially in areas where tractors can't reach easily.
The picture shows a "Hal-gah-Nal" made by a local craftsman, available at the Made in GBC store. Interestingly, school children also use this tool for their research projects. This keeps the connection with old farming methods alive and helps kids learn about their history and culture.
Despite the rise of new technology, the "Hal-gah-Nal" continues to be important in regions with limited tractor access. It's not only a tool for farming but also a way to educate young people about their heritage.
