The 10th of Muharram, known as the Day of Ashura, holds immense significance in Islamic history due to numerous pivotal events involving Prophets. Notably, Allah accepted Sayyiduna Adam's repentance, saved Sayyiduna Nuh from the flood, and delivered Sayyiduna Musa and the believers from Fir'awn on this day. Centuries later, it was marked by the tragic martyrdom of Sayyiduna Imam Husayn while standing for truth and justice. Ashura serves as a poignant reminder of Allah's mercy, the triumph of truth and faith, and the sacrifices made to preserve Islam. The Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of fasting on this day, stating that it expiates the sins of the past year. He also encouraged fasting on the 9th and 10th or 10th and 11th of Muharram. According to Islamic teachings, fasting on Ashura, along with its virtues and lessons, includes standing for truth, demonstrating patience and sacrifice, and seeking forgiveness. The Prophet's sayings and actions underscore the significance of Ashura and encourage Muslims to observe this day with reverence and devotion. Muslims are recommended to fast on the 9th and 10th or 10th and 11th of Muharram to attain spiritual growth and expiation of sins.

*_TAFSEER OF SUURAH AT-TĀRIQ (QUR’AN 86) continues_*. BismilLah.

Let's continue with our studies of Suurah At-Tariq (Qur’an 86) with some practical Lessons for Our Daily Life below;

1. Living our life with Awareness (Taqwa). Every action is recorded so let's be mindful even in private moments.
2. Staying Humble: We came from something very simple. Pride and arrogance don’t make sense.
3. Preparing for the Day Secrets Are Revealed by ALLAH Azzawajal. Let's clean our intentions, not just our actions. Sincerity matters deeply.
4. Trusting ALLAH'S Power: since ALLAH Azzawajal created us once, HE can recreate us easily. Never doubt the Hereafter.
5. Taking the Qur’an Seriously. It’s not just for recitation, it’s a guide for life. Reflect and act upon it.
6. Be Patient When Facing Opposition. People may oppose truth. ALLAH'S plan always prevails.
7. Reflect on Nature: Rain, stars, and earth are all signs. They strengthen faith when we truly observe them.
*_May ALLAH Azzawajal keep guiding and protecting us from any satanic influences_*. Aameen.

MUHARRAM 1448 A.H.

*Narrated Ibn `Abbas:*

*_The Prophet (ﷺ) came to Medina and saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura. He asked them about that. They replied, "This is a good day, the day on which Allah rescued Bani Israel from their enemy. So, Moses fasted this day." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "We have more claim over Moses than you." So, the Prophet fasted on that day and ordered (the Muslims) to fast (on that day)._*
