जीएसटी का Full Form होता है- Goods And Services Tax । हिन्दी में इसका अर्थ होता है- माल एवं सेवा कर। इसे, वस्तुओं की खरीदारी करने पर या सेवाओं का इस्तेमाल करने पर चुकाना पड़ता है। पहले मौजूद कई तरह के टैक्सों (Excise Duty, VAT, Entry Tax, Service Tax वगैरह ) को हटाकर, उनकी जगह पर एक टैक्स GST लाया गया है।
