Mr. Ahmed Hassan, President of Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GtCCI), meeting with Mr. Adnan Mahmood Awan Pakistani Commercial Counsellor at Pakistan House, New York. The meeting focused on promoting Gujrat-based products in the U.S. market and exploring new opportunities for trade, investment, and exports.
The President also introduced GtCCI and highlighted the diverse industrial sectors represented by the Chamber, reaffirming its commitment to supporting local businesses and expanding their global reach.
Together, we are working to showcase the strength of Gujrat's industries on the international stage.

A meeting was held at Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry with Regional Police Officer (RPO) Gujranwala, Mr. Khurram Shahzad Haider Warraich.
The meeting was attended by Haji Nasir Mahmood (Group Leader), Mr. Ikram Afzal Butt, (Acting President GtCCI) Muhammad Munir Peshawari, Former President, Imran Warraich, Aqif Saeed, Mirza Awais Irfan, Abbas Butt, Executive Members, and Haji Zahid, Former Executive Member.
Group Leader Haji Nasir Mahmood welcomed the RPO to the Gujrat Chamber and held discussions on organizing an annual industrial exhibition in Gujrat, strengthening mutual cooperation, maintaining law and order, crime prevention, community policing, and further enhancing trust between the public and the police.
RPO Mr. Khurram Shahzad Haider Warraich stated that a peaceful and secure society can only be achieved through close cooperation between the police and the public. He further emphasized that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the protection of citizens' lives and property.

A training seminar on the topic of "Responsibilities of SMEs" was organized at the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GtCCI) in collaboration with SMEDA and Skill Setters.
The session was conducted by Dr. Syed Zaheer Abbas Kazmi, who delivered a comprehensive training on the subject. He highlighted the importance of business documentation, business financial planning, and key considerations for obtaining business loans. The trainer also engaged participants in practical exercises and answered their questions, providing modern, practical insights to help them strengthen and grow their businesses.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ikram Afzal Butt, Acting President of GtCCI, thanked all the participants for attending the session. He stated that this marked the final session of the three-day training program organized by Skill Setters. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the distinguished trainer for delivering valuable and practical knowledge on the subject.
He also extended special thanks to SMEDA and Skill Setters for organizing the three-day training program. He expressed confidence that the participants had gained useful knowledge from the sessions and would apply what they had learned to enhance the growth and success of their businesses.
Mr. Butt further stated that the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry would continue to organize similar training programs and seminars in the future to benefit its members and support the development of the SME sector.

A training seminar on Business Planning was organized at the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with SMEDA and Skill Setters. The session was conducted by Dr. Syed Zaheer Abbas Kazmi, who delivered a comprehensive training on the subject.
During the seminar, Dr. Kazmi provided participants with practical and up-to-date knowledge on key aspects of business planning, including business ideas, business planning, customer identification, business costs, and customer relationship management. He emphasized that thorough market research and careful planning are essential before starting any business. Participants were also encouraged to clearly understand who their target customers are before launching a business. The session included practical exercises, and Dr. Kazmi answered participants' questions in detail.

FBR Help Desk Inaugurated at Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry's One-Window Facilitation Center
An FBR Help Desk has been inaugurated at the One-Window Facilitation Center of Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GtCCI) to provide the business community with easier access to tax-related services, guidance, and facilitation.
The Help Desk was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Hassan Zulfiqar, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, Sialkot, and Mr. Ahmed Hassan, President of Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in the presence of Haji Nasir Mehmood, Group Leader (Shaheen Group), Ashfaq Ahmed Razi, Group Leader (Founder Group) and Former President, along with Executive Members of the Gujrat Chamber.
Speaking on the occasion, President Ahmed Hassan expressed confidence that the establishment of the FBR Help Desk would greatly benefit Chamber members by providing comprehensive guidance on FBR-related matters and ensuring the timely resolution of tax issues. He noted that services including assistance with FBR login issues, amendments to NTN records, Sales Tax registration, and other essential tax-related facilities would now be available directly at the Chamber's One-Window Facilitation Center.
Addressing the gathering, Hassan Zulfiqar, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue, emphasized that the Help Desk would serve as a dedicated platform for providing complete guidance and support on tax compliance. He said the initiative would strengthen coordination between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the business community, making tax services more accessible and efficient.
He further assured Chamber members that every effort would be made to facilitate businesses in matters relating to tax registration, amendments to tax records, sales tax, and other taxation-related issues through the newly established Help Desk.
The inauguration reflects the shared commitment of the FBR and the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry to improve taxpayer facilitation, promote compliance, and strengthen collaboration with the business community.
