Using the numerical methods (LES/VOF) in OpenFOAM, the CFD analysis of the external flow of the injector was done. At different pressure ratios the spray parameters were studied and the optimum conditions with efficient spray parameters were determined.

Performed a series of 2D analysis encompassing a range of trailing edge morphing camber shapes and operating conditions. This was done using an existing and efficient FishBAC morphing concept which was also modified for unsymmetrical airfoils. Analysis was carried out using ICEM CFD and Fluent in ANSYS using dynamic meshing and UDF.
