John Ternus will receive an annual **base salary of $3 million**, along with an **equity award worth approximately $55 million** for fiscal year 2027. In addition, he will receive around **$2.5 million in restricted stock units (RSUs)** for serving as CEO during part of fiscal year 2026.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) raided an alleged illegal call center in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi, and arrested **eight individuals**.

According to the NCCIA, the call center was allegedly being used to defraud foreign nationals. During the operation, authorities reportedly recovered digital devices, spoofing software, calling dialers, and alleged sensitive banking information belonging to foreign nationals.

Officials said the suspects allegedly posed as representatives of US banks and financial institutions to obtain sensitive information from people and carry out unauthorized financial transactions. The suspects were also allegedly impersonating US banks and debt settlement agencies as part of the alleged fraud.

According to the NCCIA, a case has been registered against the arrested individuals under relevant provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). However, the allegations are still subject to legal proceedings and will ultimately be decided by the court.
