Title: Amazon USA Product Launch
We hunted a product for one of our client, when we saw the stats of Helium10, Jungle Scout, Viral Launch we were amazed. The search volume of the main keyword was 1,495,910 on Helium 10 and sale conversion was very high. The product size was small enough that we got $1.35 per unit DDP airfreight rate from China to Amazon USA warehouse with a profit margin of 37%.
The second, Third, and other keywords search volume are also very high even the 19th keyword had 16,457 search volume and at that keyword, people are getting huge sales.
During the launch time, we noticed that due to high search volume lots of sellers start coming into this niche, and at the main keyword due to new sellers traffic, price war begin and profit margin went to none. Unfortunately, the client wants to launch this product however we had another product for him to launch.
He was obsessed with the crazy sales of sellers and still want to launch this product in the USA, UK, and Canada marketplaces, so we order the inventory from China.
The strategy I found:
Due to high search volume on other keywords, we made a strategy to rank this product on comparatively low search volume keywords than the main keyword but still enough to get fantastic sales as mentioned in attached screenshot.
We started PPC (pay per click) sponsored Ads on our selected keywords to rank and did ASIN targeting to competitors with some giveaways through FB Ads and manychat flow.
Keywords from where we started getting orders we increased bidding on them to bring more traffic and sales to our product listing. For those keywords, which were not getting much sales we decrease the bidding amount to make PPC campaign smoother and to minimize the ACOS, which leads to organic sales.
After getting rank on one or two keywords decided to target other shot-tail and long-tail keywords and eventually went for the main keyword till then our listing will become more mature and stable also we will have some social proof in terms of reviews and rating due to already ranked on keywords.
