Resultantly Disaster Management & Reconstruction Division was established on an immediate basis and was given the responsibility to provide consultancy services for reconstruction of thousands of facilities in the Earthquake affected areas of AJ&K and KPK. In all these years since its establishment, DMRD has expanded its fields of activities from seismic safe reconstruction to Disaster Management, GIS and Disaster safe Land use Planning .
