National averages hide local realities.

At RADS, we use Small Area Estimation (SAE), combining Bayesian modeling and spatial smoothing, to turn high-level national survey data into district-level intelligence across 134 districts in Pakistan.

Our high-resolution maps reveal dramatic local gaps:
- Hypertension: Ranges from 20.3% to 53.5% (National: 43.2%)
- Diabetes: Hits up to 10.9% in local hotspots (National: 5.9%)

By replacing broad averages with precise spatial data, donors and public health teams can direct screening, stock essential medicines, and target funding exactly where it's needed most.

Pakistan’s health funding has flatlined at ~1% of GDP for 30 years, but our disease reality has shifted completely. Today, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) cause 68% of our disease burden, yet receive a microscopic 0.2% of the health budget.

Traditional stats show how many live in a district. RADS maps exactly where they are.

When policies rely on broad averages, clinics get built miles away from real communities, and vaccine drives miss dense pockets of vulnerable children.
