AA Residence
This 1 kanal residence in DHA Phase 2, Islamabad, is a meticulously crafted five-bedroom home that harmonizes Feng Shui principles to create a balanced, energy-enhancing living space. Designed around the elements of wood, water, metal, and earth, the residence promotes well-being, vitality, and tranquility.

The layout centers on a thoughtful division between public and private spaces. This separation is achieved through a central water feature, a symbolic representation of life’s flowing energy, bringing calm and balance to the heart of the home. From this central point, the house connects through bridges and corridors that link various areas, creating a unique spatial experience that seamlessly unifies different sections of the residence.

The design also incorporates the concept of yin and yang, with contrasts between open and private areas, light and shadow, softness and structure, to achieve a space of balanced harmony.

Natural light, airflow, and ventilation are integral to the design, allowing the home to breathe and maintaining an eco-friendly, energy-efficient environment. This attention to natural elements complements the Feng Shui approach, ensuring a residence that is both practical and harmonious.

The design aims to reflect the energy and lifestyle of the clients, with elements that repeat throughout the house to maintain cohesion.
The primary objective of this project was to create a compact yet rich living environment that offers privacy and community for a large family. The design focuses on openness, natural light, and material contrasts to enrich the living experience.
The project is built on a 10-marla plot. The site accommodates three separate residential units, allowing for shared living arrangements while maintaining privacy.
The design aesthetic reflects a blend of modern, minimalist principles with a focus on material contrasts. The hall with living and dining space acts as a central feature, with its glazed ends, promoting openness and natural lighting. The material palette will juxtapose fine-grain wood against rough concrete, creating a tactile and visual contrast; Fine-grain wood for warmth and texture, rough concrete for an industrial edge
The aesthetic goal was to create a sun-filled, light-drenched living space that emphasizes openness and material richness.
