There is something powerful about watching a woman step up, own the mic, and pitch an idea which she has been building in her head for months. That energy filled the room. One after another, talented women took the stage, pitched with confidence, and walked away with real-time feedback from a crowd that was rooting for every single one of them. Ideas were sharpened, confidence was built, and connections were made that will outlast the day itself.
The day opened with Mehar Alam, Head of Projects and Comms at Change Mechanics, giving us the inside scoop on WECON and an exciting first look at what is coming with Wussat 2026. Muneeza Munneazay’s Journey, Project Director of Women Innovation and Startup Empowerment Lab (WISE Lab), followed with a powerful look at how WISE Lab is opening doors for women entrepreneurs across Pakistan under the vision of Ignite and the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. We kept the energy going with a hands-on Canva Brand Design workshop with Rameesha, Senior Creative Designer at Change Mechanics, before wrapping the day with networking, laughter, and great food.
