PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The person in the position of Assistant IT Manager will be responsible to supervise the service desk team in ensuring quality service delivery to our valued end-users. The candidate will be overseeing and managing, daily workflow, IT Operations, End users computing services, and third-party vendor coordination, to meet business and organizational needs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
1. As an Assistant Manager IT, the candidate will be working closely with the Operations department to ensure IT service delivery within defined SLA’s.
2. Daily workflow management to ensure incidents are responded to timely and within agreed SLA’s.
3. Supervising the Helpdesk team to improve our existing services and processes, identify and address the operational gaps.
4. Creating and ensuring compliance with Company IT Policies.
5. Ensuring compliance of data and cybersecurity policy, risk management, and taking necessary measures to avoid data and cybersecurity incidents.
6. Liaise with third-party support and vendors to meet organizational needs within defined OLA’s.
7. Configuration and administration of Systems, network switches, Access Points, and Firewalls.
8. Active directory management and administration.
9. Microsoft 0365 administration and support.
10. Develop and maintain an inventory of company IT equipments.
11. Assess, identify the area of improvements, and present /implement cost-effective solutions.
12. Managing Maintenance activities, disseminating service advisories and keeping stakeholders aware of on-going or planned developments.
13. Preparing and maintaining IT SOP’s, run books, and building knowledgebase.
14. Conducting trainings sessions for end-users to enhance productivity and operational awareness.
15. Assess and identify the area of improvement and propose detailed solutions.
OTHER SKILLS:
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Strong Presentation skills & able to Influence others.
• Proficiency with software and application used in E-commerce Industry.
• Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
• Multitasking, Good time management skills, including prioritizing and adapting as necessary.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with a key focus to meet timelines.
