No other organizations in any other cities of Pakistan have the right to select Pakistani students for the Russian Government scholarship.
Russian House in Karachi provides free consultations, does not charge registration fees, application fees or any other fees related to the scholarship. The entire application process is free of charge and is done online through the website https://education-in-russia.com
๐ขThe Russian House in Karachi is happy to announce the start of the 2026-2027 Russian Governmentโs Scholarship program from September 15, 2025.
โผ๏ธThe Russian Government Scholarship can cover the whole period of study at any of Russian universities plus some pocket money monthly.
โ๏ธ Students do not pay any admission and tuitions fees. However, the scholarship does not include travel and daily life expenses.
๐All applications for the Russian Government scholarships are accepted only on the website https://www.education-in-russia.com
โฐThe period of submitting applications expires on January 15, 2026.
A candidate has to take the following steps:
๐น1. to register on the website "Education in the Russian Federation for foreigners" (https://www.education-in-russia.com);
the candidate must, among other things, choose the field of study or specialty as well as the level of education (Bachelorโs degree or Masterโs degree or PhD program) and then 6 educational institutions in which he/she would like to study (in priority order: 1st โ high priority; 2nd โ less priority; etc.).
Please carefully fill out the application form, because after submitting it for consideration any changes in the level of education and the list of priority universities ARE NOT ALLOWED.
๐น2. to attach scanned copies of the original documents to the application:
โ passport;
โ Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) (OR Cambridge International A Level Certificate, OR Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE)) and mark sheets of 10th and 12th class (for candidates who apply for Bachelorโs and Specialistโs degrees); Bachelorโs degree and full transcript of marks โ if you apply for Masterโs program; Masterโs Degree and full transcript of marks โ if you apply for PhD programs;
โ consent to process studentโs personal data (to be downloaded and printed from the website, signed and uploaded back);
โ application form (to be downloaded and printed from the website, signed and uploaded back);
N.B. Students who graduate in 2026 MUST submit 10th and 11th class results and a letter from school confirming that they are currently undergoing a 12th class program and will attend the final exams this year.
โ Students who finish their educational programs (Bachelor and Masterโs degrees) in 2026 MUST provide all semester-wise mark sheets available at the moment and a letter from university confirming that they are final year students and will graduate in 2026 upon successful completion of their final exams;
โ All candidates applying for PhD programs MUST additionally provide a copy of their research paper, list of scientific publications and a recommendation letter from the RUSSIAN university, where they want to study.
๐น3. after having filled in the application, to send it for consideration, transferring it to the appropriate status on the website till January 15, 2026
Applications that have not been transferred from the "Draft" status till this time will not be accepted for consideration.
Candidates can choose only one field of study/specialty within the same level of education.
The selection of candidates will be held in the following forms:
โ competition of documents on education and qualifications;
โ portfolio competition (research articles, victories in national and international subject Olympiads or contests, sports achievements on the national and international level);
โ creative test (for applicants applying for specialties and fields of study that require certain creative abilities, physical and psychological qualities).
In case of a technical error, please contact technical support with an error screenshot attached.
Applicants who pass successfully the first step of the admission campaign will be obliged to add the document package with:
โ fitness certificate;
โ certificate of absence of AIDS/HIV;
โ certificate of absence of hepatitis B and C and tuberculosis;
โtranslations of all documents into Russian duly certified by the Russian consulate and upload them to the website (https://www.education-in-russia.com) until January 15, 2026.
