Alvar Alto used to say to a student, who was designing a window, "Well, make that window as though your lover is siting in it". RC has developed a philosophy that focuses on functionality and flexibility as well as uniqueness and attractiveness. We design spaces that are comfortable, whether it is for an individual, family or a corporation. We develop an intimate relationship with our client, which enables us to understand how the space needs to function. A person's interior space is very much a reflection of his innerself, his passions and his aspirations. While designing for our clients we try to "delve" into their minds, focus on their needs and read between the lines. The potential of engineering is simply to enable things to happen. The idea is to enhance, not restrict. In its flip side of being an engineer and being blamed for things that go wrong and look bad and of course you are never thanked for things that are so successfully perceptually in-built that you don’t even notice that they are there and that’s probably one of the greatest moments which you can give to someone some thing that you don’t even know how good that is. Schematic Design
• Review the project requirements and generate a preliminary program and estimated project budget.
• Review alternative system and material with the owner.
• Prepare Schematic Design comprising of floor layout plan(s), as many are required until a satisfactory solution is reached. Design development
Prepare Design Development Documents, based on the owner approved Schematic Design. The following documents are furnished upon completion of the design (depending on the Owner's requirements). Construction Management
When our services include Construction Management, we provide different levels of services, depending on the project type. In case of Consultancy Services, the following services are included:
1. Complete Design with all required drawings.
2. Suggestions and certification of materials in terms of quality and price.
3. Review and certification of payment applications from Contractors. Substantial and final completion inspection including periodic site visit to become familiar with work progress, quality, and ensure that construction is in confines with the construction Documents. In case of Turn-key projects, the following services are included:
