A Proud Moment for Pakistan!
Google has officially opened its first local office in Pakistan, right here in Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in the country’s digital and technology journey.
Inaugurated on 18 August 2026 by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in the presence of Google Vice President for Global Affairs Wilson L. White and US Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker, this new chapter reflects Google’s growing commitment to Pakistan and its digital future.
What makes this even more exciting is what lies ahead — from AI and digital skills development to supporting local businesses, creating opportunities for young Pakistanis, and strengthening Pakistan’s ambition to become a $30 billion IT export hub.
Google has already trained more than 1 million Pakistanis through its upskilling initiatives, while its programs have contributed significantly to Pakistan’s digital economy.
At Biz Grip Solutions (BGS), we welcome this milestone and believe that stronger global technology partnerships can open new doors for innovation, entrepreneurship, skills, and economic growth in Pakistan.
Welcome Google to Pakistan! 🇵🇰
Here’s to a smarter, stronger and more digitally connected Pakistan.
