Sadia Anwer has led the HR and training functions in various organizations before venturing into her own consultancy. She was associated with Employers’ Federation of Pakistan, International Labour Organization, Contact Plus (Subsidiary of Interflow Communication), Eastern Capital Ltd. (Multinational Brokerage Company). She has developed the HR division at Contact Plus, from policy making to implementation, recruitment to performance appraisal she led the complete HR functions single handedly with success. At Employers’ Federation of Pakistan she reestablished the training cell, conducted and organized trainings and seminars on One UN Reforms and worked with chambers to launch programs of ILO and UN. She was Assistant Secretary Training / Project & Consultant” Women Employment Concerns of Pakistan and Decent Working Conditions (WEC-PK) (ILO & EFP joint project). She is the single female who developing & administrated the Institute of Stock Brokerage (ISB) for MBA students for the first time in Pakistan when working with Easter Capital Ltd. a multinational brokerage company. As a facilitator & mentor, she uses real life examples from both her own and professional experiences in her projects. She, as a social worker, has taken responsibility to eliminate stress, carelessness and behavioral issues from society. MR. UBAIDUR REHMAN USMANI is LL.B and M.A. in Economics. He has attended many educational and training programs in Pakistan, U.S.A., Europe and Japan and had interaction with leading scholars and professionals in Management Development, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. He has been a Management Counselor in Pakistan Institute of Management for over seven years and subsequently worked as Personnel Development Manager in Philips Pakistan and Director Human Resources in Park Davis Company. Presently, Mr. Usmani worked as Director Personnel & Administration, legal and public affairs in Singer Pakistan for nearly 2 decades. He is also one of the Directors of the Company on the Board. He has extensively traveled throughout the World and represented employers very frequently in National, Regional and International Seminar & Conferences. Usmani is a very senior member on the Managing Committee of the Employers Federation of Pakistan and has headed its Committee on Productivity, Industrial Relations, Training & Development, and Research & Publications and on special projects like child labour, disabled persons and gender issues. He is also presently Additional Secretary General of Workers-Employers Bilateral Council of Pakistan (WEBCOP). U.R Usmani is a visiting faculty member of the University of Karachi, NIPA, NILAT and various educational, training & development institutions. MUHAMMAD SHAIQ is a veteran business management professional with more than 30 years experience of being associated with reputed organizations in top managerial positions. His field of specialization is Supply Chain Management and 3rd party logistics management. He has been handling and managing logistical activities for the distribution of international brands like Coca Cola, Burger King, Nestle, Jacob Suchard, Kraft, Pillsbury, Häagen-Dazs, US Surgical, Polaroid etc. Along with international exposure of evolving, formulating, implementing, auditing and reengineering supply chain management processes. SHAIQ has been involved with lot of research work on 3rd party logistics and has presented many papers on latest SCM and logistics theories, concepts and innovations in numerous international conferences on Supply Chain Management. He is Member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK and holds membership of various logistics institutes and business professional associations of USA, Canada and M.E. He holds M.A.in Economics and M.S in Applied Economics and got Diploma in Business Administration from UK. He has taught courses in quantitative Economics at post graduate level and has been associated with renowned economic researcher and consultants and has worked on various research projects funded by international agencies like World Bank, USAID and IBRD. He is a Canadian national and resident and is currently in Pakistan on some business assignment.
