Mass Human Resource Services (Mass HRS) and China Overseas Ports Holding Company Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd (COPHC) organized a conference to Explore and Uplift Gwadar on Saturday, November 5th, 2024 at Gwadar Business Center CBC in order to highlight the significance of Gwadar as the โEmerging Global Business Hubโ. They invited learned speakers and experts to talk on different topic for the betterment of Baluchistan.
Significant participants from civil society, Bureaucracy, youth educationalist and LEAs were present at the event where renowned industrialists and Business community showed great interest for investing in Gwadar and different routes of CPEC in Baluchistan.
Amongst speakers included, Affan Qureshi convener Abad Gwadar Chapter, Ahmed Owais Thanvi chairman ABAD south region, Faisal Umer, Naeem Rasheed Vice president Gwadar CCI, Noman Chaudhary, Ameen Nathani chairman Combine Group, Usman Kalmati senior politician & Tanveer Saigol talked on different issues whereas, Waqas Lasi Director GIEDA gave a brief presentation about the GIEDA and industrial zones, he highlighted the points how to uplift Gwadar thru GIEDA platform, Imran Ibrahim DG Fisheries Baluchistan, focused on the marine life and shrimp farming, he added that Gwadar has a vast potential of Shrimp and fish feeding, he encouraged investors to invest in fisheries sector. Mr. Shafaqat Shahwani DG GDA, has given the comprehensive plan of Gwadar and discussed about the hurdles of Gwadar like Water, electricity and sewerage system, he also answered questions of the participants and shared the ideas.
Also included Hasan Bakshi , Chairman ABAD , Shen Shiwei journalist from CGTN China, Excellency, Mr. stone of CBC, whereas Chairman COPHC Prof Yubo, being the co host of the event warmly welcomed all the participants of the conference, and talked over various potential and various opportunities of CPEC projects, further they invited the delegation to visit and exchange ideas for the project. Mr. Yubo. Captain Junaid Ali CO 3rd FP along with Excellency Mr.Yang Yundong CG China to Karachi was the guest of honor he talked about Pak China strong ties and significance of the Pak China projects of CPEC, moreover he insured the continuity of the CPEC projects phase wise, whereas Molana Hadayat ur Rahman chief guest of the ceremony highlighted key areas of improvement to uplift Gwadar and its people. He shared the basic issues of Gwadar and showed commitment to solve the problems.
