What happens after the cells are installed?
That is where pack engineering really begins.
Large-format prismatic cells can experience dimensional changes influenced by state of charge, temperature, and mechanical conditions. A properly designed pack must therefore manage cell restraint, tolerances, expansion, and structural loadsโnot just make sure the cells fit.
CFE continues to develop structural solutions such as the Fastening Module and Top-In C2P, while pursuing patent protection in these areas.
The goal is not to clamp as tightly as possible. It is to maintain controlled and reliable mechanical conditions throughout the batteryโs service life.
Easy insertion is not pack engineering.
