Successfully conducted a comprehensive and professional training session on Safe Crane Lifting Operations at FOTCO LNG Terminal. The session was designed to enhance workforce competency, operational safety awareness, and compliance with international lifting and rigging safety standards within high-risk industrial operations.
The training covered critical aspects of lifting operations including safe lifting techniques, Safe Working Load (SWL) calculations for cranes, hooks, shackles, and lifting accessories, sling angle factor calculations, selection and inspection of different types of slings, proper rigging methods, load distribution, center of gravity awareness, lifting hazards, and detailed load chart interpretation. Participants were also trained on pre-lift inspections, communication methods between crane operators and riggers, critical lift precautions, and safe ex*****on of lifting activities in confined and high-risk operational environments.
Special focus was given to practical understanding of lifting capacities, prevention of overloading, identification of unsafe lifting practices, and implementation of effective control measures to minimize lifting-related incidents. The session remained highly interactive with active participation, technical discussions, and real-time scenario-based learning, reflecting a strong culture of professionalism and safety excellence throughout the program.
Appreciation to the management and operational team for their valuable participation, commitment toward workplace safety, and continuous efforts in maintaining high HSE standards within terminal operations.
