یہ بات میں نے شروع میں ہی سیکھ لی تھی کہ احتجاجاً چیخنے چلانے سے کام جلد نکل آتے ہیں ۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ دوسرے بہن بھائی اگر کبھی سکول سے واپسی پر بسکٹ وغیرہ مانگتے تو والدہ انہیں صاف انکار کردیتیں ۔ مگر میں اتنا شور مچاتا اور روتا کہ بسکٹ دیئے بنا نہ بن پڑتا ۔ وہ مجھے سے کہتیں " آخر تم ولفرڈ ( جو سب سے کالا تھا) کی طرح اچھے بچے کیوں نہیں بنتے ؟“ مگر مجھے پتہ تھا کہ اچھا بن کر صرف بھوکا رہا جاسکتا ہے ۔ میرا تجربہ یہی ہے کہ اگر آپ نے کچھ حاصل کرنا ہے تو شور مچانا ضروری ہے ۔
