3rd/2026 meeting of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Business Development with Europe and North America at FPCCI President Secretariat, Islamabad held on 25th August 2026, which was graced by Mr. Tariq Jadoon, VP FPCCI. The meeting was convened by Mr.Rashid Humayun Convener of the Committee.Mr. Alexander Akerboom*, First Secretary & Head of Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Pakistan, attended as the chief guest, while Ms. Maria Rehan Satti, Economic Affairs and Climate Change Officer of the Embassy of the Netherlands, also accompanied him. During the meeting, attendees explored practical pathways to strengthen bilateral economic ties between Pakistan and the Netherlands. Key focus areas during the session included, Leveraging warehousing facilities and optimal trading routes through the Rotterdam region to boost Pakistani exports into European markets, Formulating targeted business to business linkages and launching pilot projects in three to four high potential trade sectors. The committee reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to broadening market access for Pakistani businesses, creating direct commercial partnerships, and fostering stronger trade relations across European and North American markets.

Health Awareness Seminar on Mother & Child organized by FPCCI CSR Central Standing Committee on Medical & Health Sciences under the Convenership of Dr. Zahid Hasan Ansari Convener of the Committee, held on 7th August 2026 at FPCCI Head Office Karachi, which was graced by Mr. Asif Sakhi Vice President FPCCI and Dr. Fouzia Hameed Member Propincial Assembly (MPA) Sindh attended the Seminar as Guest of honor. The Health Awareness Seminar on Mother & Child was organized to promote maternal and child health, focusing on preventive care, healthy practices, and the importance of timely medical attention for the well-being of mothers and children.

2nd/2026 Meeting of FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Logistics held on 21st August 2026 at FPCCI Head Office Karachi, convened by Mr. Rana Asim Shakoor Convener of the Committee. The Convener & Members of the Committee held detailed discussions on key business and economic matters, including the increase in Withholding Tax under Budget 2026–27, frequent changes in daily/weekly fuel prices, PRA notices regarding Sales Tax, and follow-up on the implementation of Axle Load regulations, with a focus on addressing concerns and facilitating the business community. The members actively participated in the discussion and shared their views on the matters highlighted.

1st/2026 Meeting of FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Bio-Economy held at FPCCI Head Office Karachi on 22nd August 2026 and via Zoom Link, convened by Syed Muhammad Shifaat Zaidi Convener of the Committee. The Convener and Members of the Committee discussed Terms of Reference (TORs) and deliberated on future plans, strategic priorities, and valuable suggestions from members to strengthen the Committee’s role and ensure effective outcomes.
