PakistanCreates' Founder Spotlight of the Week ⭐

Meet Sana, the creative force behind Fandom by Sana - a business born from a love of fandoms and a desire to create the kind of merchandise Pakistani fans were looking for.

Sana began her journey just after graduating during the post-Covid period, starting small and making fandom-inspired notebooks, charms, jewellery, stickers and other handmade pieces. At the time, the BTS and K-pop wave was at its peak, and Sana quickly discovered a community of fans eager to find merchandise they could call their own! ⭐

But like many young entrepreneurs, she faced the challenge of getting her products beyond her immediate social media circle. That changed when she discovered the PakistanCreates platform.

For Sana, the platform became more than a marketplace. It opened the door to customers across Pakistan...from places she never imagined her little business could reach. One order, in particular, stands out: Skardu. The thought that something she had made by hand was now in the hands of a customer all the way in Skardu was, she says, "surreal."

With no commission or listing fees, Sana was also able to put her earnings straight back into the business - investing in supplies and giving her small venture room to grow. And with WhatsApp support available whenever she needed guidance, the process felt considerably less overwhelming.

PakistanCreates was founded to champion the people who are building, making and creating in Pakistan - with a particular focus on supporting and celebrating women entrepreneurs and the ideas they bring to life. As we evolve into a digital magazine, we’re expanding that mission: telling the stories behind the businesses, the people behind the brands, and the journeys that deserve to be seen.

All Roads Lead You Back To Yourself 🌟

Before the world told you to be practical, profitable or realistic, you were naturally drawn to certain things.

The stories you loved. The things you collected. The ideas that fascinated you. The little obsessions that made you feel alive and sparked something in you.

As we grow older, we often learn to set those things aside in favour of what makes sense on paper.

But life has a funny way of bringing us back.

Maybe those childhood interests weren’t just phases. Maybe they were clues.

Clues to what excites you.
Clues to what you’re good at.
Clues to what you might be here to create.

At Pakistan Creates, we believe there is something powerful in paying attention to those clues...and giving yourself permission to follow them.

So, what did you love before the world told you who to be? 🌸

A Nation Rises When Its Women Rise 🫶

From entrepreneurs and artisans to makers, creators and changemakers, Pakistani women are not simply part of our future...they're actively building it.

Every woman who starts something, employs someone, creates something beautiful, solves a problem or dares to dream bigger is contributing to the Pakistan we want to see. At Pakistan Creates, we believe in a Pakistan where women have the opportunity, confidence and support to build...and where their work is seen, valued and celebrated.

Here’s to the women creating the future. Pakistan Zindabad! ❤️‍🔥

PakistanCreates’ Founder Spotlight of the Week ⭐

What began with a gap Warda Javed couldn’t ignore is now becoming a thoughtful new resource for families across Pakistan.

A Special Education Professional by training, Warda spent years working with children with autism, developmental delays and intellectual disabilities. During her time as a Behavioural Counselor and Support Teacher, she saw firsthand how difficult it could be for Pakistani families to find resources that truly reflected their children’s world.

Too often, existing materials were imported, poorly translated or disconnected from the language, culture, daily routines and faith of the children using them.

So Warda set out to create something different. In May 2026, she launched Stepping Stones by Ablepreneurs Pakistan, a customised Home & School Autism Support Toolkit for children aged 4–12. Each toolkit is designed around the individual child, recognising their unique strengths and areas where they may need support.

Rooted in Pakistani language and culture, Stepping Stones is built on a powerful idea: support works best when it understands the child and the world they live in.

The toolkit is currently at the prototype stage, with Warda offering free samples to families and schools as she gathers feedback and continues developing the resource.

To everyone who has ever stayed up late perfecting a design, reworked a piece for the tenth time, stitched by hand, painted with purpose, or created something despite uncertainty...we see you.

Creating is rarely easy. It takes courage, patience, and faith in something that doesn't yet exist.

And yet, every brushstroke, stitch, carving, sketch, and idea is an act of hope. A belief that your story matters and deserves to be shared.

To Pakistan's artists, artisans, makers, and dreamers: thank you for continuing to create. The world is richer because you do. ✨

Back in June, PakistanCreates' founder, Mahe Zehra Husain, penned an essay for Business Recorder on what it truly means to build as a woman in Pakistan. Drawing from her own entrepreneurial journey, she reflected on resilience, uncertainty, and the importance of creating roadmaps that reflect women's realities...not just their ambitions. As we look forward to the release of her debut book on entrepreneurship next month, in August, we're reminded that the most meaningful stories don't just celebrate success; they give other women the confidence to begin.

As PakistanCreates evolves into a platform dedicated to telling the stories of Pakistan's entrepreneurs, artisans, makers, and changemakers, this is exactly the kind of conversation we hope to foster! Because every woman who shares her journey lights the way for someone else. If you have a story of building, creating, or persevering, we'd love to hear it.

⭐Inspiration of the Week⭐

Some of the most meaningful collaborations aren't just about creating beautiful products. They're about bringing together people who share the same values.

When one of Pakistan's most beloved fashion brands, Generation joined hands with one of the country's most respected literacy non-profits, Alif Laila Book Bus Society something truly special happened.

Both organisations are proudly led by women. Both have spent decades building communities, creating opportunities and believing in the power of people, whether through fashion and textiles or the transformative magic of books.

Together, they've created handcrafted 'Summer Reading Kits' using Generation's reGen fabric initiative, lovingly stitched by the women artisans of Alif Laila's craft wing, Rung. Filled with storybooks, puppets and reusable backpacks, each kit is designed to spark imagination, nurture a love of reading and make learning joyful!

But perhaps the most touching part? Every single rupee from these Reading Kits will go back to Alif Laila Book Bus Society, helping bring books, libraries and learning opportunities to even more children across Pakistan.

This is what happens when women-led organisations come together with purpose. They don't just create products. They create possibility.

Here's to collaborations rooted in kindness, creativity and the belief that stories really can change lives. 📚

A new chapter begins for Pakistan Creates 🤩

When we launched PakistanCreates in 2022, the dream was simple: to create a space where Pakistan's women artisans, makers and entrepreneurs could sell directly, earn fairly and connect with customers - without middlemen.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of meeting extraordinary people from across the country. And while their beautiful products always caught our eye, it was their stories that stayed with us...

The resilience behind every small business. The creativity that turns an idea into a livelihood. The courage it takes to build something from the ground up. Those stories deserve to be told!

That's why PakistanCreates is evolving into a digital magazine dedicated to celebrating Pakistan's entrepreneurs, artisans, makers and women-led businesses through thoughtful interviews, inspiring features, founder stories and so much more.

What does this mean for the PakistanCreates marketplace?
Absolutely nothing changes.

✨ Your startup profiles remain live.
✨ Your product listings stay online.
✨ Sellers will continue managing their own stores and orders directly.

This is simply the beginning of something bigger...a platform that not only helps people discover incredible Pakistani brands, but also the remarkable people behind them.

Do you have a story worth sharing? We'd love to hear from you. Send us a message for a chance to be featured, or comment below and help us celebrate the awesome people shaping Pakistan's entrepreneurial landscape! 💖
