From Commitment to Sustainability: Plantation Work Successfully Completed
We are proud to announce the successful completion of plantation activities under our afforestation project in Jaroba Khattak, District Nowshera, reaffirming our commitment to environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
Under this initiative, 44,000 saplings including Phulai, Shisham, Ber, Kikar, Albida, and Eucalyptus have been planted across 40 hectares (800 kanals) of land, transforming barren land into a developing green ecosystem.
With a total investment of PKR 14.04 million, the project aims to deliver long-term environmental and community benefits. With plantation activities now completed, the project has entered the phase of upkeep, protection, and maintenance to ensure healthy growth and sustainability of the plantation site.
The initiative is expected to sequester approximately 400 tons of CO₂ annually, while also supporting groundwater recharge, reducing soil erosion, enhancing biodiversity, and restoring natural habitats. Active community participation through the Village Development Committee and collaboration with the KP Forest Department further strengthen the project’s long-term sustainability.

عزم سے پائیداری تک: شجرکاری منصوبے کی کامیاب تکمیل
ہمیں یہ اعلان کرتے ہوئے خوشی محسوس ہو رہی ہے کہ ضلع نوشہرہ کے علاقے جڑوبہ خٹک میں ہمارے شجرکاری منصوبے کے تحت تمام سرگرمیاں کامیابی کے ساتھ مکمل ہو گئی ہیں، جو ماحولیاتی تحفظ اور موسمیاتی بہتری کے لیے ہمارے مسلسل عزم کی عکاسی کرتی ہیں۔
اس منصوبے کے تحت 40 ہیکٹر (800 کنال) رقبے پر 44,000 پودے لگائے گئے ہیں، جن میں پھلائی، شیشم، بیر، کیکر، البیڑہ اور یوکلپٹس شامل ہیں۔ یہ اقدام بنجر زمین کو بتدریج ایک سرسبز اور پائیدار ماحولیاتی نظام میں تبدیل کر رہا ہے۔
14.04 ملین روپے کی سرمایہ کاری سے مکمل ہونے والا یہ منصوبہ طویل المدتی ماحولیاتی اور سماجی فوائد فراہم کرنے کے لیے ترتیب دیا گیا ہے۔ شجرکاری مکمل ہونے کے بعد اب یہ منصوبہ دیکھ بھال، حفاظت اور نگہداشت کے مرحلے میں داخل ہو چکا ہے تاکہ پودوں کی بہتر نشوونما اور پائیداری کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
یہ منصوبہ سالانہ تقریباً 400 ٹن کاربن ڈائی آکسائیڈ کے اخراج میں کمی میں مدد دے گا، جبکہ زیرِ زمین پانی کی بحالی، مٹی کے کٹاؤ میں کمی، حیاتیاتی تنوع میں اضافہ اور قدرتی ماحول کی بحالی میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔ ویلیج ڈیولپمنٹ کمیٹی کے ذریعے مقامی کمیونٹی کی شمولیت اور خیبر پختونخوا فاریسٹ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے ساتھ اشتراک اس منصوبے کی پائیداری کو مزید مضبوط بناتے ہیں۔
