خاموشی ایمان کی سلامَتی کا ذَرِیعہ ہے

جس بدنصیب کی زَبان قینچی کی طرح ہرکسی کی بات کاٹتی چلی جاتی ہو گی ،

وہ دوسرے کی بات اچّھی طرح سمجھنے سے محروم رہے گابلکہ باتونی شخص کے لیے یہ بھی خطرہ رہتاہے کہ بک بک کرتے ہوئے زَبان سے مَعَاذَ اللہ عَزَّوَجَلَّ کُفْریات نکل جائیں ۔

چُنانچِہ حُجَّۃُ الْاِسلام حضرتِ سیِّدُنا امام ابوحامد محمد بن محمدبن محمد غزالی عَلَیْہِ رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ الْوَلِی

’’ اِحیاء ُالعلوم‘‘

میں بعض بُزُرگوں کا قول نَقْل کرتے ہوئے فرماتے ہیں : خاموش رہنے والے شخص میں دو خوبیاں جمع ہوجاتی ہیں

{۱} اُس کا دین سلامت رہتاہے اور

{۲} دوسرے کی بات اچّھی طرح سمجھ لیتا ہے۔

(اِحیاءُ الْعُلوم ج۳ ص۱۳۷)

خاموشی جاہل کا پردہ ہے

حضرتِ سیِّدُناسُفْیان بن عُیَیْنہ رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہ نے فرمایا:
اَلصَّمْتُ زَیْنٌ لِّلْعَالِمِ وَسِتْرٌ لِّلْجَاہِلِ

خاموشی عالِم کا وقار اور جاہل کا پردہ ہے۔

(شُعَبُ الْاِیمان ج۷ ص ۸۶ حدیث۴۷۰۱)

خاموشی عبادت کی چابی ہے

حضرتِ سیِّدُنا امام سفیان عَلَیْہِ رَحْمَۃُ الحَنَّان سے مروی ہے:
زیادہ خاموشی عبادت کی چابی ہے ۔

(اَلصَّمت مع موسوعۃ ابن اَبِی الدُّنْیا ج۷ص۲۵۵رقم۴۳۶)

مال کی حفاظت آسان ہے مگرزَبان

حضرتِ سیِّدُنا محمدبن واسِع علیہ رَحمَۃُ اللّٰہِ النّافِع نے حضرتِ سیِّدُنا مالِک بن دینار عَلَیْہِ رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ الْغَفَّارسے فرمایا:

انسان کیلئے زَبان کی حفاظت مال کی حفاظت سے زیادہ دُشوار ہے ۔

(اِتحافُ السّادَۃ للزّبیدیج۹ص۱۴۴ )

افسوس! کہ اپنے مال کی حفاظت کے مُعامَلے (مُ۔ عَا۔ مَلے) میں عُمُوماً ہر ایک ہوشیار ہوتا ہے ،

حالانکہ مال ضائِع ہوبھی گیا تو صِرف دنیا کا نقصا ن ہے۔

صد کروڑ افسوس! زَبان کی حفاظت کی سوچ نہایت کم رَہ گئی ہے،
یقینا زَبان کی حفاظت نہ کرنے کے سبب دنیا کے نقصان کے ساتھ ساتھ آخِرت کی بربادی کا بھی پوراپورا امکان ہے۔

بک بک کی یہ عادت نہ سرِ حشر پھنسا دے
اللہ زَباں کا ہو عطا قُفلِ مدینہ
