Haro Gok is a protohistoric site in Kharan, which is approximately 6,500 years old. The site consisted of several small mounds. It is a protected site under the Antiquities Act 2014 of Balochistan. This site was visited by an officer from the Directorate of Archaeology and Museums of the government of Balochistan and he noted that it is the largest site in the area with roughly 2000 yards long and 250 wide. Unfortunately, the site has been destroyed 99% while about 1% remains.
The soil of the site has been taken out deliberately by the builders of the Garok Dam nearby.
According to the Antiquities Act of Balochistan 2014, it is a punishable act.
