Post about the strange behavior of job applicants and interviewees‼️
I have been listening to so many stories of strange behavior of job applicants, interviewees and also people switching their jobs.
▶️ Instance # 1: Applicant has been offered a job of 85K despite of being a fresh grad and he has to appear for the final interview with the CEO. He does not show up and upon calling him, he says “I just got up, I don’t think I will be able to make it today.”
▶️ Instance # 2: A person has switched the job and two days in, he leaves by saying “My previous employer has offered me the same package. I am going back.”
▶️ Instance # 3: An interview call has been made and the applicant acknowledged it. He does not show up and upon checking with him, he says “I am in Hunza right now, I cannot make it.”
I am sure there are so many other instances where applicants do not even show up for the interviews. Cases about lying, unethical swithcing of jobs without regarding notice periods & many others are also on the list.
The big question is “What is happening ❓‼️”
Fresh grads say that they do not find jobs or they cannot land an opportunity.
Employers say they cannot find the right fit and when they do, such unusual, non-serious and unethical behavioral problems arise.
How are you handling such challenges? How many vacant positions do you have right now at your organization that you need to fill and you cannot find the right people?
