Glasgow School for Business and Society undergraduate portfolio refresh
Glasgow School for Business and Society, delivers programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across business, management, law and social sciences. Over the last year, the School has undertaken a review of the undergraduate programmes they offer, taking into account a wide range of factors including the views of employers and students, trends in the external environment and future graduate employability. The new and revised programmes ensure that graduates will not only possess the knowledge and skills required in their chosen discipline, but also have the ability to place their discipline into a wider context, to be global in their thinking, responsible in their future leadership and develop the entrepreneurial and creative skills to enhance their employability and ensure they succeed in their chosen career.
In addition to offering students the opportunity to study programmes across Business, Management, Law and Social Sciences, the portfolio of programmes has been enhanced and now offers students the opportunity to study new programmes in International Business, Management and Tourism.
Programmes previously available are being phased out, however they will still be available for advanced entry, for those students who have the relevant qualifications. You can use our ‘Find a Course’ search function, located at the top of our website pages, to find all available business programmes or alternatively download our mini-guide.
Students who have applied to study one of our undergraduate programmes prior to the refresh, have been made an offer based on their original application, however we are now in the process of making a new offer to these students, providing them with the opportunity to study our new and refreshed portfolio of programmes in September 2014. The communications will include the key benefits of the new programmes, together with instruction on any actions which need to be taken by applicants.
Please rest assured, the changes to the programmes will be beneficial to students, providing a richer learning experience and enhancing employability. However, should you or your applicants have any questions or concerns regarding the changes to their courses or the process of updating offers, please do not hesitate to contact GCU..
