Now it’s time for the most important step —
✨ Creating your Amazon product listing!

This is how your product becomes visible to the right buyers. Let’s go step by step 👇

Step 1: Log in to Seller Central

Go to sellercentral.amazon.com → Inventory → Add a Product

Step 2: Create a New Product Listing

Match Existing Listing – Only for reselling, add price, quantity & condition

Create New Listing – For new/private-label products, create your title, description, keywords & UPC

✅ Tip: Make sure your UPC is valid

Step 3: Choose the Right Category

Select the most accurate category to reach the right buyers

Step 4: Fill Out Product Details

Product Title

Clear, human-friendly & keyword-rich

Include main keywords naturally

Keep under 200 characters

5 bullets highlighting main benefits

Simple & readable

Product Description

Let’s talk about one of the most important parts of creating your Amazon listing — buying a barcode (UPC).

A barcode is like your product’s identity card. It helps Amazon and global systems recognize your product uniquely. But here’s the catch — where you buy your barcode from matters a lot!

Let’s break it down 👇

Why You Should Buy from GS1
Amazon may accept any barcode at first, but only GS1 barcodes are officially verified and trusted long-term.
If you buy cheap barcodes from local or unofficial websites, there’s a high risk someone else already owns that same code. Later, Amazon might flag your listing for barcode mismatch or even remove it — and that means wasted time and money .

So always go for the official GS1 website (👉 https://www.gs1.org)

Important Things to Remember When Buying from GS1
Use the same business name and address on GS1 that you’ve registered in your bank or business documents.
Always enable two-step verification to protect your GS1 account.
Add a recovery email address — just in case you forget your password later.
After purchasing, download and safely store your UPC certificate and codes — you’ll need them when creating listings.

Lesson 2: Amazon Error 5665 — What It Is & How to Fix It (Step by Step)

Hey everyone !
Have you ever tried creating a listing and suddenly saw “Error 5665” pop up?
Don’t worry — it happens to almost every new seller! Let’s make it super simple to understand 👇

What Is Error 5665?
This error appears when Amazon doesn’t recognize your brand name yet.
In other words, Amazon wants you to prove that your brand is real and that you’re authorized to use it.

Why Does It Happen?
Because you’re trying to create a listing under a new or unapproved brand — and Amazon’s system can’t verify it automatically.

How to Fix It (Step by Step)
Here’s exactly what you need to do 👇

Go to Seller Central → Add a Product → Enter Your Brand Name
When Error 5665 appears, click the link to “Apply for Brand Approval.”
Amazon will then ask for proof that your brand exists. You’ll need:
Real photos of your product and packaging with the brand name printed clearly
Your brand logo (visible and professional)
A trademark certificate (optional, but highly recommended)
Submit the request and wait around 24–48 hours for Amazon’s response.

Once approved, the error disappears — and you can go ahead and create your listing .

Pro Tip:
Make sure the brand name printed on your packaging matches exactly what you typed in Seller Central.
Even small differences (like spaces, capital letters, or spelling) can cause rejection.

Before creating a product listing on Amazon, there are a few important steps you must complete first.
Without these, Amazon won’t even let you publish your product.

Let’s go through the basics 👇

🔹 1️⃣ Amazon Approval (Error 5665)
If you see Error 5665 when trying to create a listing — don’t panic! 😅
It means Amazon doesn’t recognize your brand name yet.

To fix this, you need to prove your brand is real by showing:
✅ Real pictures of your product & packaging with your brand name
✅ Your brand logo
✅ Trademark certificate (if available)

Once Amazon verifies this, you’re all set to move forward 🎉

🔹 2️⃣ Barcode (UPC / GTIN)
Every product needs a unique barcode — it’s how Amazon identifies your product globally 🌍

You have two options:
1️⃣ Buy official barcodes from GS1 (Amazon’s trusted source)
2️⃣ Apply for a GTIN exemption inside Seller Central (if your product doesn’t have a barcode)

Without this step, your listing can’t even begin 🚫

🔹 3️⃣ Product Images (Minimum 7)
Your pictures are your first impression — make them professional and attractive ✨

You need at least 7 types of images:
📸 Main image (white background)
🏠 Lifestyle image (product in use)
