On Wednesday, 16 September, Dr. Mariam Siddiqa, President WCCIS, along with the Office Bearers and members of the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), attended a meeting with H.E. Raimundas Karoblis, Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan, at the SCCI Hall. The meeting was organized by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The discussion focused on strengthening EU-Pakistan business and economic cooperation, with particular emphasis on Sialkot’s contribution and potential in international trade.

Dr. Mariam Siddiqa briefed the Honourable Ambassador on WCCIS’s initiatives and achievements and extended an invitation to attend the upcoming WE-Exhibit. Mrs. Gulzaib Waqas Awan highlighted areas of shared interest between the EU and Pakistan and emphasized the growing potential of women entrepreneurs in Sialkot.

H.E. Raimundas Karoblis appreciated WCCIS’s efforts and underscored the importance of women’s meaningful participation in economic development.

The Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS) organized a meetup session for its Executive Committee ahead of the conclusion of its 2024-2026 tenure.

During the session, the Executive Committee members had the opportunity to greet Honorable Mr. Sheikh Riaz Ud Din and express their sincere appreciation for his continued guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the tenure.

The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the Committee's journey, acknowledge its collective efforts, and appreciate the contributions made towards strengthening WCCIS and advancing its objectives.

The Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS) is proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone as two of our esteemed members, Ms. Qurat Ul Ain, Earl Surgical, and Ms. Ayesha Chaudhary, Art of Home, have been selected for NIC Sialkot Cohort 1.

With approximately 873 applications received for only 13 incubation slots, the cohort reflects the growing entrepreneurial potential and innovation emerging from Sialkot. Founders from diverse fields, including Deep Tech, Sports Tech, AI, Surgical Industry, E-Commerce and more, stepped forward with ideas ready to be transformed into impactful ventures.

We are delighted to see two WCCIS members among the selected founders and extend our heartfelt congratulations to both on this achievement. We wish them continued success and growth as they embark on this exciting entrepreneurial journey.

WCCIS remains committed to encouraging and supporting women entrepreneurs across Sialkot. We encourage aspiring women founders to actively explore and register themselves in the Women Chamber to access opportunities that can help turn their ideas into sustainable businesses.

EBO Bootcamp | Entrepreneurship & Business Growth

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and CIRCLE Digital Literacy Program (DLP), successfully organized the EBO Bootcamp, focused on empowering entrepreneurs with practical digital skills for business growth.

The action-focused session covered AI for Business, Mobile Selling, Digital Presence, Content Strategy, Payment Readiness, Sales Planning, and hands-on learning with AI tools including ChatGPT, Meta AI, Gemini.

WCCIS sincerely appreciates the TDAP and CIRCLE DLP teams for their valuable collaboration and support in making the session impactful. We look forward to continuing partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the digital economy.

On Friday, August 28, 2026, the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Pakistan Single Window (PSW), successfully organized the Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program, a one-day training session focused on empowering women entrepreneurs and strengthening their participation in global trade.

The program featured three core modules, Women Entrepreneurs in Cross-Border Trade, Tech-Savvy Women, and Interactive Workshop & Financial Inclusion. The sessions provided practical insights into e-commerce export procedures, TIPP and Tradeverse platforms, accessing international markets, AI tools, export readiness, and financial inclusion.

Through interactive discussions, hands-on learning, and practical guidance, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills to navigate digital platforms, explore international trade opportunities, and strengthen their businesses.

WCCIS sincerely appreciates the TDAP & PSW teams for their valuable collaboration, support, and efforts in conducting these insightful and impactful sessions. We look forward to continued collaboration in creating more opportunities for women entrepreneurs and supporting their journey towards greater participation in international trade.

On 29 & 30 July 2026, Ms. Gulzaib Waqas Awan, Senior Vice President, Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), attended Pakistan’s First Economic Summit 2026 at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad, representing WCCIS.

Organized by FPCCI and UBG, the summit brought together policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to discuss Pakistan’s economic future and explore opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
