At DNV, culture is not an abstract idea. It shapes how people grow, take on responsibility and support one another over time.

For Jung Eun, that has meant saying yes to new challenges, learning continuously and focusing on small improvements that make everyday work easier for colleagues. Those choices are a big reason she has stayed with DNV for more than 20 years.

What continues to inspire her is the freedom to learn beyond her formal role and to contribute wherever her experience can add value.

Pressure reveals preparation, also in workplace emergencies. 🚑

Last week, 17 colleagues from our Global Shared Services Singapore team completed a 2.5 day first aid programme focused on responding calmly and effectively under real pressure. Through hands-on practice and realistic scenarios.

As Susie from Global Shared Services HR shared: “I gained practical hands-on experience in CPR and AED usage, as well as a clearer understanding of how to assess situations quickly and prioritize actions to ensure safety. I can use this skill at work, at home, or anywhere.”

The most important outcome was not the certificate. It was awareness. Recognizing early signs that something is wrong, stepping in sooner, and supporting colleagues with calm and care. 🧠

Caring for each other is part of our values. Safety is built through clear procedures, but even more through people who care for one another. ❤️

At DNV, colleagues have many opportunities to give back to the community and live our We Care value in many ways. One of these is our annual tree-planting initiative organized by CONNECT Poland. CONNECT is a global initiative that unites DNV employees through meaningful activities.🌎

🌱 Together, 25 DNV colleagues and their families planted around 1,300 young trees, taking a step towards restoring biodiversity in an area that was suddenly devastated.

Green is not a trend, it’s the future. ♻️

The planet is waiting for responsibility from everyone, and sustainability is a practice we can embed into our daily choices.

At DNV, we believe that change begins with individual action. The *Best Out of Waste* event organized in our Pune office reflected that belief, showing the enthusiasm, creativity, and active participation of our colleagues. 🌱

Participants transformed everyday discarded materials into unique and thoughtful creations, demonstrating how innovation and imagination can give new purpose to what is often considered waste.

“Initiatives like these encourage us to rethink consumption and embrace reuse,” says Atishay, Datawarehouse Support Consultant in Global Shared Services.

When we thrive as one, we create better outcomes. 🤝

At DNV, there are many opportunities to build your network with colleagues around the globe 🌍.
One example is our Global People Summit, which brings colleagues from HR and people functions together to share perspectives, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships.

During the event, colleagues were energized by external speakers who inspired new thinking around the use of AI. Internal speakers added powerful perspectives, sharing how they are actively moving DNV forward in innovative ways. Through hands-on group work, participants even created their own AI agents - emphasizing that progress matters more than perfection.

Colleagues left inspired: energized by what they learned and confident in the impact they will continue to create together.

Caring for your health doesn’t have to start after work 🩺

A few weeks ago, part of our Gdynia office turned into a place where taking care of your health becomes easy 💙

The recent wellbeing event gave colleagues the chance to complete preventive health tests without leaving the office. No commuting. No rescheduling meetings. No “I’ll do it later.”🧑‍⚕️

This initiative makes prevention part of everyday work life.

Stepping onto a big screen isn’t something most of us do every day, but our colleagues in Hamburg embraced it with positive energy and teamwork.

In December, our colleagues spent two days filming what real life at DNV looks like. 🎥🌟

Recently we reunited for an exclusive internal premiere. Although there was no red carpet or flashing cameras, it was just as exciting! With the occasional giggles and ‘oh, that’s me’ moments, we watched together on the big screen - recognizing what we achieve when we collaborate across teams, businesses and backgrounds. 📍📽️
