This week, on 21st December, two events were held in Podgorica concluding the project “Implementation of key competencies in the education system of Montenegro”🇲🇪
𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞
📌 The project that started nearly two and a half years ago ends this year, and this occasion was used to present the achieved goals. The Team Leader declared that all tasks were fulfilled and would positively impact the education system 🏫📚
📌 Nearly 2,000 teachers and education professionals were trained, and a set of documents, guidelines and manuals were composed which will serve for future development and implementation of the crucial competencies were developed. The present members of the Steering Committee, in which representatives of all stakeholders and beneficiaries took part, agreed that the project was not just a success but would present a solid base ground for further development of the education system of Montenegro and the implementation of key competencies for lifelong learning in it.
𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
📌 The event gathered nearly 40 representatives of the project beneficiaries and stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, and the EU's Delegation in Montenegro. The conference was streamed online, where an additional audience of a few hundred viewers could watch the event 💻 This occasion was used to sum up the achieved tasks during the period of nearly two and a half years during which the project was implemented.
📌 Besides, representatives of the institutions who underlined the importance of the project, the members of the project team who presented the achievements in different components of the project, where a particular part was dedicated to the presentation of successful examples of implementation of key competencies in the education system.
📌 A number of teachers who have been part of the training process for the key competencies implementation presented particular cases of the classes where they have executed the skills gained during the training. The univocal conclusion was that this project have had a positive impact. It will undoubtedly keep developing the key competencies in the education system even though the official part of the project ends this year.
