Starting October 12, 2025, Poland will begin rolling out the Entry-Exit System (EES), and on the same day, it will also be active in all Schengen countries.

No more passport stamps! 🛂 Instead, border crossings for non-EU travelers will be recorded electronically through a handy mobile app.

Don’t worry — the rollout will be smooth, with full digital implementation planned for April 2026.

📢 Important Update for International Students in Poland! 🇵🇱🎓

Starting July 1, 2025, the rules for issuing temporary residence permits in Poland are changing. These updates apply to students from non-EU countries. If you're planning to study in Poland, here’s what you need to know: 👇
💳 New residence card validity:
✅ 15 months – for the first year of Bachelor’s or Master’s studies
✅ 2.5 years – for the first year of Doctoral studies
🔄 Want to continue your studies?
You’ll need an official certificate from your university. Your residence card will remain valid as long as your certificate is current.
📌 For current students extending their permits:
✅ Bachelor’s/Master’s students – card valid for the remaining study period + 3 months
✅ Doctoral students – card valid for the remaining study period + 6 months
⚠️ Maximum validity: 3 years
