Guess who I just saw the other day at the office in Brisbane? Yes, that's me - about 15 years ago. A young Field Engineer in Newcastle, Australia.

I stood there for a moment, just looking at that photo. And honestly, it made me emotional.

I think about that young woman from Poland:
🔹 The one who didn't have all the answers but showed up every day willing to learn.
🔹 The one who was nervous on her first site visit but never let it stop her.
🔹 The one who dreamed big - even when she wasn't sure those dreams were realistic.

I reflected on all the extraordinary people who shaped her along the way:
🔹 The Project Field Engineer in Iceland who saw potential before I saw it in myself.
🔹 The Project Manager in Newcastle, Australia, who trusted me with more responsibility than I thought I was ready for.
🔹 The colleagues in Poland, Iceland, Canada, US, Australia and across the globe who became lifelong friends.
🔹 The leaders across Mining & Metals, Energy, Nuclear, Security & Environmental, and Infrastructure Business Units who opened doors I didn't even know existed.

None of this was a straight line. There were hard days. Moments of doubt. Times when I wondered if I was enough. But there were always people - people who believed in me, people who challenged me, people who supported me.

From Poland to Iceland. From Canada to the US. A few global locations in between - and now back in Australia, working with Richard Freer and the incredible team at

On 27th October we celebrate 👏💥Thank you for creating such a meaningful occasion to honor all the incredible mentors around us and inspire mentees to continue their journey.

As I reflect today, I must acknowledge that I wouldn't be where I am, both professionally and personally, without my mentors - and Foundation wouldn't exist without them either. Thank you for dedicating your precious time to my growth and development. 🙏🩷

Wow! Can you feel the energy? 🚀 🔥 What an incredible summit! I’m immensely grateful to Bianka Siwinska, PhD, Rafał Solecki-Bieniecki and the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit Team for welcoming me all the way from Down Under Australia, along with amazing Mentoring F2F Foundation Team. 💚 💛 💗 💙

The UNESCO Institute for Statistics data from the 2024 GEM Gender Report highlights a tough reality: from 2018 to 2023, women comprised only 35% of STEM graduates, with no significant progress. In 12 out of 122 countries, just one in four graduates were female. These statistics are disheartening, especially considering the hard work put in to shift the needle.

However, the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024 in Warsaw, Poland showed us a different narrative. As the largest conference for women in STEM in Europe and Asia, it brought together over 10,000 students, specialists, and leaders from the tech world, along with 500 top industry experts and 100 leading technology companies. The atmosphere was filled with support, empowerment, and an electrifying energy that charged us all to continue pushing forward for our future female STEM leaders.

The future is definitely in our hands, and I can’t wait to break the glass ceiling for female leaders in STEM! Here's to more progress and seeing you all next year! 🌟🚀

While we often look up to high-profile figures for inspiration, sometimes the most inspiring individuals are right by our side.

🌟 Exciting news from Poland at Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie! 🌟 I am deeply honored to have received the "Crystal St. Barbara" Honorary distinction from the Wydział Inżynierii Lądowej i Gospodarki Zasobami AGH . I'm incredibly grateful to be recognized alongside esteemed individuals like Prof. Dr. Hab. Inż. Zbigniew Kasztelewicz and Mgr Inż. Tomasz Rułka. As the first Polish woman to receive this prestigious award, I am filled with tremendous pride.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dean Marek Cała and Vice Rector for Students Affairs Rafal Danko for their unwavering support in nurturing the next generation of STEM students.

A special thank you must also go out to my amazing family Down Under, my partner Mark, my boys Sam and Tim, and my beloved sister Roksana Hajduga. I am immensely grateful for the support I've received from my friends since my days as a student, fellow AGH University of Krakow graduates, and the co-founders of MentoringF2F: Elżbieta Markiewicz, Joanna Tęcza, Krystyna Brzoska, Joanna Wanat, Anna Babiarz, and Sylwia Spruch. Today, I just had to pinch myself! The foundation program for 23/24 has just launched, marking the beginning of another incredible journey. Looking back, it has been an amazing experience over the past two years. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all volunteers in the MentoringF2F foundation. It means a lot that you trusted me and agreed to follow my lead. 💛💚🩷💙

A warm welcome to our new MentoringF2F Ambassadors Izabela Szpyt and Paulina Zapora, and over 40 exceptional Mentors into our community. 👏 Together, we will be able to provide support and guidance to over 50 .krakow students this year. The impact we're making is truly outstanding, and I can't wait to see what we will achieve next!
