The new MOS system (Case Handling Module) will soon change the way residence applications are submitted in Poland. From April 27, 2026, most applications (for temporary residence, permanent residence, and EU long-term resident status) will be submitted online only.

The system is free of charge – you only pay the standard administrative fees. To submit an application, you will need an account in the system as well as a trusted profile or an electronic signature.

⚠️ Important: after the MOS system is launched, paper applications (for most cases) will no longer be accepted. It’s worth preparing in advance and not leaving everything until the last minute.

Over 100 residence legalization applications in 2025 – see who most often chooses Poland.

In 2025, we have already submitted over 100 residence legalization applications. Poland continues to attract people from different continents and cultures, and we are proud to support them throughout the formal process.

Following the announcement of the President of the Central Statistical Office (GUS) dated 09.02.2026, the average salary in the national economy for 2025 has been officially set at PLN 8,903.56.

As a result, for applications concerning a temporary residence permit for the purpose of highly qualified employment (Article 127 of the Act on Foreigners), the current minimum required salary amounts to PLN 13,355.34.

📄 Amendment to the Act on Foreigners Signed by the President of Poland

On 12 December 2025, the President of the Republic of Poland signed the Act of 21 November 2025 amending the Act on Foreigners and certain other acts.

The amendment introduces important changes, including:
✅ Digitalisation of residence legalization procedures
✅ The possibility for Ukrainian citizens with a PESEL UKR number to obtain a 3-year residence card (CUKR residence card)

Starting next year, applications for residence permits in Poland will be submitted exclusively online via the dedicated Moduł Obsługi Spraw (MOS) system.
Ukrainian citizens holding PESEL UKR will also be able to apply for the CUKR residence card through this platform.

The Office for Foreigners will announce the official launch date of the electronic application system in advance.
⚠️ Please note: the system will NOT be launched on 1 January 2026.

📢 New regulations for employing foreigners in Poland starting 2025! 🇵🇱

The changes will come into effect on July 1, 2025.

Starting in 2025, significant changes will be implemented regarding the employment of foreigners in Poland. Key updates include:

✅ Elimination of the labor market test – employers will no longer need to verify if there are available Polish or EU candidates for a given position.

💻 Full digitalization of procedures – work permit applications will be submitted exclusively online via the praca.gov.pl portal.

📄 Mandatory translation of contracts – employment contracts must be translated into a language understandable to the employee and include information about the right to join trade unions.

⚠️ Higher penalties for violations – fines for illegal employment can reach up to PLN 50,000.

📚 New obligations for employers – including notifying the voivode about the termination of employment by a foreigner and maintaining more detailed documentation.
